How many of you have been through there?
My first visit to Dubai was on Emirates Airlines and I passed through Gate -3.The terminal is amazing .The massive structure is clean to the very end,and a great thing to watch. The only thing is it’s very much deserted at many palces. :D.This is exclusively for Emirates flights to any destination in the world.
Re: Emirates Terminal
Its beautiful man, i have seen it so many times, gosh, its a beautifully architect really, the connected flights passegers are really njoying it, you will get hotels, gyms, and all there and you will get spa as well in.. its huge.. They have made it underground, when you are boarding to the plane, at that time you will be out of the ground.. if m not wrong.
Re: Emirates Terminal
I did not check that.Is it an underground one?May be you are right. In the serene beauty of this massive structure,I would have forgotten to check it.
Re: Emirates Terminal
where are you right now if you are in Dubai, We will check it no probs...
Re: Emirates Terminal
Now I am in India.
Might be flying to Dubai in two weeks time :)
Re: Emirates Terminal
I have not been to Dubai airport yet. But yes UAE sets standards for cleanliness. Its a very clean country.
Re: Emirates Terminal
I feel it's one of the most clean cities I have ever been to in this world.
Hanoi,Colombo,Bangkok,Mali sucks.............
Re: Emirates Terminal
^ Ever been to Abu Dhabi? Abu Dhabi is more clean compared to Dubai.
Re: Emirates Terminal
No.I have not been to Abu Dhabi.
Re: Emirates Terminal
Okay then you should see the standard of cleanliness here. Being it a capital they have kept it more organised, clean and less congested.
Re: Emirates Terminal
Yes,I will definitely try but I have heard that there are restrictions in place in Abu Dhabi.Am I right?
Re: Emirates Terminal
Arleitter I had the pleasure of driving a freind to the new Emirates terminal at 4 in the morning after it had been open only for a week- we were disguted to say the least that at 4 am- the place was deserted with no security measures at all- there was hardly a soul about and the Arab so called security chaps as they walked to their shift did not even acknowledge 2 damsels in distress with suitcases and obviously perplexed- anyway in terms of its design- very very nice- gleamingly clean and well planned.... certainly gives passengers a feeling of a superior ambience compared to its other terminals......
Re: Emirates Terminal
^^ what kind of restrictions?
Re: Emirates Terminal
Yes,even I also felt the same thing which you felt.I think the reason behind its emptiness are, this terimnal is exclusive for Emirates Airlines and the timings you arrive there.(At odd timings, you may not find much crowd, just like any other place),but I landed in Dubai in the morning and inside the terminal it was almost deserted!!!
Yes,I will definitely try but I have heard that there are restrictions in place in Abu Dhabi.Am I right?
Its in Dubai not Abudhabi ....
^^ what kind of restrictions?
Like on Alcohol,Dance bars ,Night Clubs etc.
Re: Emirates Terminal
hmmm well there is strictness in Abu Dhabi but i believe it would be same in Dubai too. Well anyway are you coming here to break some laws , some violations or what ?
Re: Emirates Terminal
Fairytale you are truly living in a fairytale.. are you kidding me? abu dhahbi less congested than Dubai??? there is HARDLY ANY PARKING THERE!!! and the buildings are 10 15 20 years old AND FREAKING DIRTY!!! there is LITTER EVERYWHERE!!!
Abu Dhahbi just copies whatever Dubai does, and in no way is it better or cleaner than Dubai
Gujjar Badshah the terminal is NOT underground… It is on GROUND level…
Re: Emirates Terminal
lol aisha i am talking about Abu Dhabi not abt Sharjah. read my post again.
Re: Emirates Terminal
^I am talking about Abu Dhabhi too. Have you seen Electra street?? Have you seen how congested it is?? There is NO parking WHATSOEVER!!! Abu Dhahbi is just slightly better than Sharjah. It is nowhere near as clean as Dubai. After Dubai the cleanest city would be Al Ain.
