I had no clue till 1 hr ago…it has been extremely silent…
I have been really and also bit
On being informed my reaction was to check TV, all channels off, radio was on, PTV was on, they kept breaking news specifically using the term “COAS Gen Musharraf” rather than the usual President Mushararf.

I didnt realize that much but some landlines and most mobile phone services were also off.
Internet was also temporarily shut.
Nothing at all on the road, not even an extra cop.

I hope all stays safe and peaceful.

What was stopping them from doing that for last 8 years? Those are same people doing same for last 8 years. Mushrraf is a criminal so are those who are supporting him. There is word of it: Its called traitors.

The action was not taken because of the extremists, but because of the impending court decision of the Supreme Court. Bottom line, Pakistan has been plunged into crisis by Mush to save his own kursi. Shame on him.

Miltary coup was necessary for the introduction of democracy (not the shame democrady, the real democracy) at the grass root level. Now that the job has been successfully done, he has now declared emergency to wipe out the jihadi force at the grass root level.

There were 2 reasons being given for the emergency one being the current militant situation in Pakistan.. I just hope now that Musharraf should prevail in his action & get rid of these Jihadists.
