embarrassing babies

Re: embarrassing babies

Ms. Bholi Bhali, the prophets were HUMAN, we can and WILL compare ourselves to them as far as biological issues are concerned. They put their pants on one leg at a time too, they had 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose, like the rest of us. So please, don't elevate your prophets to the point of making them super human, they were NOT. The whole point of sending prophets from AMONGST us was to show us that "hey, if THEY can live a righteous life, SO CAN YOU, follow their example"

If the prophets were NOT the same as us, from AMONGST us, with the same day to day issues as us, how would we be expected to follow their example. That's saying that God wants us to follow the example of someone who is already far more superior to us, how is that doable? If God said that you need to run really fast, as fast as a cheetah, is that fair? Is that just? God is just, He would not expect us to live our lives like someone who is superior to us.

You just don't get it. As far as bringing religion into everything, you don't have to, I do, I live my life by a code, perhaps you don't, I live my life by the rules established by the Omnipotent one, that's WHY I get upset when people say things like "older people having babies is eww". You don't think religion belongs in every aspect of your life, yet you are happy to jump up and lecture us based on your uninformed arguments. Please.

Re: embarrassing babies

My mamu was actually 2 years younger than me but sadly passed away when he was a toddler.

My mum was married off young, so to be honest it doesn't surprise me my nana has a baby after I was born.

Re: embarrassing babies

The only reason it's eww is because our culture represses everything.

Exactly-maybe it's just me but if a married couple are still interested in that department and it's what they want then what's wrong with that? Crickey, people would be just as critical if a lady thought of having an abortion/having a separate room to her husband and so on.
