My older BIL and younger BIL were 19 years apart.
Whenever he had college friends over and his baby brother would cry - he would tell this friends that his aunts were visting with the kids. 
now we are talking.
Its is not normal at all we all guy cousins knew it.

During our last visit to Pakistan, we attended a wedding and around 10/12 years old kid was holding his "mamu" (around 2 years old) in goad. It was so cute 12 years old trying to pacify "mamu" .... mamuu... mamuuu..yee loo bottle lo ... milk peyee ga mamu...kochi kochi :)

my mother's khala and my mamoon are 6 months apart.
there is a 22yr difference between my oldest and youngest chachas.
BIL and SIL are 16 years apart.

My mom and her youngest khala were 6 months apart and my mom grew up with her khalas like sisters do. My youngest BIL was born after my eldest nand got married so her daughter and BIL are a couple of years apart and are really good friends.
