yeah i think especially because women got married and had children by 14-17, so they were still quite young and fertile when their own children did.
Re: embarrassing babies
So you’ll go around judging people? How nice … What a hypocrite our society is… and the first thing you think of when you see people with babies is.. oh, they had sex… sick mentality you people have … you can’t just look at the cute little baby and say congrats to the parents?
Stop being so judgmental and let people live their own lives. Who are you to call it yucky?
I hope you have a baby when you’re 40 and your eldest child is 20.
i once saw a paki drama based on this issue...the 30-somethin yr old son tells his mom to get an abortion or he'll kick her outta the house!!! then the father sets the record straight n kicks his 30-somethin SON outta the house!!! HAHAHA. but seriously we desis need to be more accepting of people's differing circumstances. gosh!

Ecjacketly!
That’s not being perverted & calling such babies an accident is just so darn rude.
This reminds me my Dadi (who got married when she was 14) had her youngest daughter while my Phoppo was having her oldest daughter. Same hospital just different rooms.
Re: embarrassing babies
Jimmy, you need to grow up, you're a child, perhaps you should keep to childish matters. Inzi, I really didn't expect YOU to say "YUCH".
If any of you naysayers believe in your Lord and His book then you'll know that the Prophet Abraham was blessed with children at a very old age, those children also went on to become messengers of God your Lord.
Shame on some of you.
Re: embarrassing babies
^^^dont compare common ppl to Prophets!!
He didnt had a child and was blessed with one at age of 80. but he was a PROPHET!!!
Re: embarrassing babies
^^ Ms bholi bhali, the whole POINT of Prophets being HUMAN was so that you compare yourself to them. God says that He sent messengers to you from AMONGST you. It's asinine to say "don't compare yourself to prophets", they were human beings, just like us.
Re: embarrassing babies
Come one ahmed.
This thread brought you out your blogy world into war zone.
I must have done some thing right ![]()
Re: embarrassing babies
no JK....this time you are so totally wrong that even aahmed felt compelled to speak up.
Re: embarrassing babies
Ms. Bholi bhali.... and JK .... the lives of the prophets also teach us a lesson from Allah...that Allah gives to whomsoever He wishes and at whatever stage He wishes.... not only aulaad but tests, wealth..... and seriously I would rather see an older married couple having a legitimate kid than some teenagers having illegitimate kids.... odd isn't it...that the one which is a blessing ...we go ewww on ...and the one which was a couple of hundred years ago not accepted in 'civilized' societies...we seem to take in our stride...
Re: embarrassing babies
I dont have problem with ppl have kids at a later age. ...... its their personal lives and wat they do at wat age is none of my business....or anyone elses..... but I dont agree with common man being compared to Prophets.
its like you dont follow any other thing what Prophets and Allah has said... but jahan per apna ullu sedha karna ho... udhar Islam aajata hai. like my class fellow started having long hair, which was against the rules of school. but his arugment was that he is following Sunnah. Hazoor (PBUH) had a bit of long hair. so anyone who told him to cut his hair... they all were considered horrible muslims. similarly, Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) ka case different tha. woh Khuda keh bande thye.
All I am saying is that dont bring religion in everything.
