Re: Elections 2013 results
National Assembly tally so far:
PML-N: 10
PTI: 4
PPP: 2
I won't post "results" from Karachi, because no election took place there. Terrorists should not even be mentioned and glorified for massive rigging.

Re: Elections 2013 results
everyone is surprised all my friends who voted in Punjab and their families were PTI voters. and judging by the rallies in Punjab i was expecting more seats from Punjab
hmna..PTI average votebank in punjab was around 3500 votes/seat in last elections..
now it will be close to 40,000/seat......this is mind boggling penetration....right?
but it is not enough to topple PMLN whose vote back was not deteriorated significantly.....
Re: Elections 2013 results
PMLN...again. how could people living there want this :(

Don't worry sath zardari bhi ai ga
Re: Elections 2013 results
I think there are two reasons of surprise here
1) PTI voter is new and is emotional and expresses himself too much, he's very visible due to which expectations build up. As compared to PMLN voter, who is not much into showing the world that he exists, outside of ballot that is
2) Most of PTI supporters are active online, and that's another reason why surprise is in online virtual world
so far i believe 2 very important things have happened
1) ANP's bilor openly accept defeat by PTI, and PTI is leading almost everywhere in KPK
2) ECP and allll other parties accepted that election in Karachi was not fair
lots of results are coming in
and i think there is a mistake by imran somewhat, he should not have contested on 4 seats (m i right? he contested on 4 seats), he could have given at least two to his other party members, so that no re-election would be needed on those seats and PTI could win them during this wave of popularity, after the first wave of results, people can change their mind when they see other party with clear lead in big picture

why would they need to redo election on these seats?

Dont tell me? i think PTI will get at least one from lahore, the one where Imran is contesting.
and another good thing, PTI leading on one seat in Karachi, this is ANP area, lots of Pakhtoon speaking votes are diverted to PTI overall

not sure who u r but u r a very sensible guy....and got to the root of the problem..
.i have been saying the same for last 3 months....pmln voter is middle class, lower middle class , but big in numbers....they dont have online presence....many of them are shopkeepers who will never leave their business for rallies....they will keep quite but will go and vote for mian sahib
and now i urge that we shd not keep on insulting these ordinary Pakistanis who voted for pmln....we shd accept the verdict with grace....PTI has done great and in all 4 provinces...and we shd focus on that.

because one person cannot keep more than one seats under his belt, he will have to chose one and let go other three (that is if he wins from all 4), and then re-election would be needed on those seats. but its fine for other not sooooooo popular members of party like, SMQ and MJH

so why did he stand from all 4? sothat he could win at least 1?
