My prediction is based on the electoral rolls of 2008. Please keep in mind that those electoral rolls have been dry cleaned, and 4 crore fake votes have been thrown out…and 4 crore fresh genuine votes have been added. You should worry about PPP. Benazir’s death is old news now, so no more sympathy votes.

Those votes were with support of establishment and never used in Favor of PPP so PPP will also be happy for that . I didn’t say that PPP will sweep but they have a great vote bank , Always intact .

Not any more, its shrinking with the passage of time. It has diminished from upper Punjab, now its the turn in Central and South Punjab.

It is yet an affair between PPP and PML N
There is no other party capable to get any seats in upper Punjab .

There is no other party capable to get any seats in upper Punjab .

If PTI will not get seats, it will be only PMLN then, I can bet with you on this. PPP is out of the game due to their performance.

PPP blames establishment.. But this time nobody has hurt PPP more than they themselves. They got in to power through establishment (NRO) after betraying political forces. They leased a new life to establishment in 2008 when establishment was at their weakest level in the history of Pakistan.. Everyone still accepted them and gave them 5 years without any hindrance.. Their performance was simply pathetic marred with huge corruption and incompetence.. They are in this state because of their own faults..

Establishment is still responsible for PPP’s misfortune, as they allowed them to complete their tenure and expose themselves badly along the way. Now they have got nothing to show, and sadly no victim card…

how many seats do you predict for ppp in punjab in the coming elections? in the previous elections out of 91 directly contested national assembly seats ppp won 45 from punjab in the previous elections (27 from central punjab and 18 from south punjab).

PPP’s tally during the last elections was 91:

Sindh - 33 seats
Punjab - 45 seats (27 + 18)
KP - 9
Balochistan - 4

I believe that they will lose out in Punjab and KP. Academically if I minus 20 seats from Punjab and 4 from KP. They come down to 67. I dont see them going over the 70’s mark in these elections in any case. I think ANP will also lose seats, and I hope JUI-F also loses out in KP and Balochistan. MQM will more or less maintain their constituencies. In Sindh I have kept the 33 seats for PPP, which could reduce depending upon PML-F’s appeal to the people.

It is very interesting . Same happened in 90 and 96 . PPP was in good position in NA but it was managed that they should not get lead in PA . Our establishment can not afford handing over Takht e Lahore to PPP .

takht e lahore will come through performance and not through the help of establishment. the cng stations of punjab are closed for a month, gas loadshedding, industries closed, extreme electricity loadshedding and still you believe the people of punjab will vote ppp into power??

Punjab voted Bhutto in power in 1970, and then in 1986 they got plenty of seats from Punjab. Even in Lahore PPP had more seats as compared to PMLN.

Perhaps you are talking about 9o or 96 , No elections in 1986
