khair, here follows a list of all the rep. points that I have ever given to anyone.
These are all of them starting from april 2007 and its hardly even 1 whole page. (it also shows negative points given by me)
anyhow… I don’t need to give any explaination of the reps. give by me to koyal and Aashi, but it was surely not an abuse.
Abuse it would be if I was giving out points at random to random ppl (or to my friends in perticual) and or giving negative points (which I can) to someone who I dislike. which is clearly not the case.
Phir bhi I just deleted the last 3 points of both leaving only the first ones there.

Gizleyyy first of all I have nothing against you nor was I targeting you in this particular thread When my thread was closed, it made me mad and i couldn’t understand what and how exactly is the system being abused. I found those two examples and i thought what and what is not “abusing” anyways all is clear and cool.

BUT here is what i also want to ask; what was the need to close the thread? Couldn't the mod just give a warning or something if the mod thought we are making "fun/abusing" of the system? Since the rep. system is in place and its working fine (People have to spread rep. before giving me again) no one could have continuously given me rep points/stars anyways.

because it makes no sense to give you a warning. would you rather have a warning and mess up your warning history than get a little thread locked?
the statement in the last post wasn't really addressed at you. initially your thread was kept open because some can be rep hogs, ie just take in rep points and not really give out any. so i saw your thread as making others aware of giving out more reps. but when i saw that others were just simply giving out reps for no real reason, i closed the thread. in the past threads that made rep points a game or things such as that were closed. guppies can still give you reps in a closed thread. there are loop holes to this system.
if GS provides the guppies with a service we can be atleast a little bit considerate and not abuse it but misusing it and using it as a popularity contest.
Ghazal: Khumar is right. This system is there for a reason. I might be guilty of it, but as far as I know, threads which encourage the abuse of Repu system or recommends others to give Repu just to gain stars have been closed and is discouraged. flower1:

can you tell me please who else were you targetting? Those were clearly reps give by me and no one else, it clearly showed. I am not annoyed by this or I am not saying you shouldn’t be doing this.
All I want to know is, how you came up with this so quickly?
as I know the system does not have a search feature, so how did you find just the 2 reps abuses (as you called them) by me in such a short time.
First of all, I was not targeting ANYONE. If i was targeting anyone, I would have put Khumar’s name directly because she is the one who closed my thread. What made you think i’m targeting anyone here?! Secondly, I never said that the examples I’m giving in this thread are what abusing is called. Like i said in my pm to you that maybe I came out the wrong but i didn’t mean to point fingers at YOU. I also told you in pm why i brought these 2 particular examples.
