I have read a lot of issues and saw ppl giving some excellent advise so socha why not try and see if i get somewhere. So here is my Issue, I really like this girl but i dont know her that well meaning i know her a bit but i wanna know more about her, khair i tried once (not too long ago) and told her about me wanting to be friends and giving each other a chance, however she asked me a few questions and the conversation fell through at which point i assumed it was a rejection and backed of, however dimaagh mein ek fitoor sa betha hua hai and i feel like giving it one last shot, and i was thinking of asking her out yet again and see if we can meet over christmas as my vacation starts as of the 22nd, this gives me a chance to meet her in person and if she has any doubts that might clear and i will get a chance to know her as well.
Khair besides everything before i even do anything, i wanna ask you guys if i should give it one last shot before i totally close this chapter or will it look cheap or imposing.
Your advise is highly appreciated.

You obviously haven't moved on from this girl completely. If you had....you wouldn't have bothered to create this thread. So, she's still on your mind. Of course......needless to say.......the result can go either way. She could reciprocate interest or turn you down. But at least, you'll know the answer, and you'll be able to either pursue this further or move on.
What makes you think that the previous conversation fell through? Keep in mind, that if this girl is more like an acquaintance........it can be tough to maintain a conversation with people we don't know that well. It's not unusual to encounter uneasy silences in this scenario. What may have seemed like a failure to you could simply have been awkwardness.
Any idea if the girl is still single? It would be good to find that out (if you can) before trying again. Ask open-ended questions to keep the conversation going instead of questions that require a one-word yes/no answer. Ask questions about her...(school, work, vacation, etc etc). People generally like to talk about themselves. Best wishes :)

If you have already told her that you want to be friends and she has not shown the interest…get the hint 
If she does change her mind, she knows where you are. Don’t put yourself in a position that could make it awkward for both of you in the future.
