Here is the synopsis
Plot:
According to the religion Islam a widow has the right to re-marry after 4 months of isolation in ‘Iddat’. She has the right to marry the man of her choice but in our culture people usually raise fingers as they have objections on a widow marrying someone else. They want her to stay in the same house in isolation or else it would bring a bad name to the family thus failing to realize that our own religion Islam has given the woman her due right to re-marry. This story revolves around this concept with the lead character being Siffat who is 21 years old and is married to Haider. Haider has two other brothers Faris and Raza who are nice to Siffat but their mother Shamshad Baigam is a strong character who likes to give orders and wants people to do what she commands them to do. Faris did not get along well with his married life and had to finally divorce and is living with his mother along with his son. Haider actually has an affair going on with someone else whom he hides from Siffat. One fine day when Raza is getting engaged Haider dies at which Siffat undergoes a shock at her husband’s sudden death. Now Siffat is at the complete mercy of her mother in law. She keeps a strict check on Siffat completely isolating her from the rest of the world. See how the story further develops and takes a turn with both Raza and Faris supporting Siffat while their mother and others turn completely against them.

im following this drama!! I must say Babar Ali looksso decent and handsome! hes doing a good job!
as for mahnoor .. her character is kinda annoying!! ... she is a attention seeker and want the world to praise her.
the rest are doing a good job too!

Hmm...Mahnoor is a little bardasht se bahar and too much chipku-ness with Noman Ejaz. Get a room people.

I saw the 1st episode. I haven't figured what the angle with mahnoor and noman ejaz is. I wonder how they affect shiffat's life or they are just random stuff to fill episodes till the real story starts?

is it only me who is following this drama regularly ?? I feel it is WAY better than humsafar (which seemed to me a stretched typical indian movie where the saas lagao’s ilzaam on ghareeb simple si bahu and wants her son to marry her stylish niece and then the husband finds a letter of summary of what went with the bechari bahu in the end, zaleelo-fies his mom and they live happily everafter

i'm following it too. though its not better than humsafar. Acting in humsafar was kamal.
they hav stretched ek nazar a lot. flashbacks of haider n siffat talking to him r so boring, the typical saas is here too. very annoying saas and shukar hai those blah scenes of mahnoor r over.
but last epi was nice. i liked how elder bro is developing feelings for siffat. Alishba is acting more like a robot now but may be thats natural after going all thru but it looks fake.

Right now I think behkwa, jahez , dil to bhatke ga and eik nazar meri taraf are all excellent. I've been following ENMT regularly. When looking at the ratings I feel that eik nazar meri taraf isn't getting all the attention it deserves. I'm impressed with Alishba Yusuf , she has acted well. The stuff shown in the drama is what happens in society in some cases. It is common thinking that when a Pakistani girl is widowed her life is over and this very issue is dealt with effectively.
Eik nazar meri taraf is slow paced but I still don't get bored watching it which is a bit unusual because in mein chand si I'm always fastforwarding anyway ....
I feel so sorry for Sifat. She practically has no life of her own. Her MIL controlls her to the point she can't even wear colourful clothes and she is fequently reminded she was Haider's wife. Yes , okay but you can't expect her to spend her whole life remembering him and it's not as if he was faithful to her to begin with. It's upsetting to see the MIL exluding Sifat from evey occasion like when it was Raza's wedding she didn't want Sifat to attend. I like the way Faris has started to like Sifat. Next episode doesn't look too good. Sifat gets caught with the make-up and the colourful dress and Raza's wife is saying to Sifat you want to look more beautiful than me that's why you're dresses up etc..

It was the final episode today. I have really enjoyed watching this drama and it is one I will miss for sure :(
Anyhow, today's episode was really nice. Great acting by Alishba yusuf throughout and also Babar Ali. It all ended well and I liked how they showed faris gradually falling in love with Siafat. Just one thing I would have liked to see was what happened to Rubab.

Rubab ended up marrying a filthy rich grandfather’age of a man and was seen shopping at a jewellery store.
Babar ali acted well but why was he such a crybaby
