Yes all of the pakistan is doing Eid either on Friday or Saturday, They will decide on tursday. Today was 28th roza over there. Probably you heard wrong or they said wrong....:)

in north america people who fast with according to saudia will be celeberating eid on thursday and else will be on friday.

Eid-ul-fitr is on friday for us down here on Tyneside and majority of England. Hallelujah! finally 30 roozai after a long long time. Majority will be insha’allah celebrating Eid on friday in England, some have opted for thursday.
Subha-e-Sarhad have announced that they have sighted shawaal ka chaand, so Eid is on thursday i.e. today for citizens of nwfp only. Roohat-e-halal comittee membaran are at it for rest of Pak, highly likely to be Saturday, or should be on saturday for 'em.

How did people in sarhad manage to see the crescent is beyond me. Its not even visible in saudia. According to the visibility chart on moonsighting http://moonsighting.com/visibilitycurves/1426shw.gif for november 2nd, only s.america and s.africa can have a possible chance.
