For once the Eid show was worth watching! i loved the casual atmosphere, the haveli it was shot at and pretty much everything about it except naghmana jafry and shahida mini! Aslam Mehmood was hilarious. I loved the way he ruined Naghmana’s song, mein hoon maghroor laila Funny man he is. The hosts did a good job too, for most part. Just got a little annoying when they stood in front of the guests and the cameramen could’n’t show the guests while they spoke. Everybody looked good (minus Noor, Mini, Meera, and n. Jafrey!) and enjoyed themselves! I almost wanted to be there!
yeh Mahmood Aslam the taRoo was excited out of his skin amidst all the pretty faces.. he even had to lie down towards the end.. must’ve exhausted his eyes..
Everyone looked good EXCEPT for the lollywood stars and Shahida Minni who did not fit into the atmosphere. I also liked the casual atmosphere.. i think all stars enjoyed one another's performances.
That lady in the golden saari who lipsynched 'anokha laadla' and acted like she was trembling cos of the effort she had to put to get her 'surr' right.
So, what place was it?. Looked like someone's backyard. A very nice backyard.
Strings' "Chae Chae" was a good performance. Najam's singing with Jawad was nice too. I just wish Naghmana Jaaferey shouldnt have performed at all. Both her and Minni seemed the odd ball in the show.
Oh and Tamar was looking good too. I like her for her wierd behavior on Pop Gun. She was being too conservative last night.
Oh and finally got to see Amna Shafaat speak. She is not as pretty as I had initially thought.

I think that guy from Road Tamasha would have been a better host than the ganjoo Noor. Was that Yasir Qureshi of Public Bolti Hay sitting in a very serious mood?
and i dun knwo why those 2 hosts didnt talk to yasir qureshi… it would hav been great if he was a host but thats okay.. he is a professional guy but atleast baat to karta

What the hell was jafrey thnking of? Why on earth does she dress up like teenagers? Noor was dressed inappropriately too. I don't know if anyone saw her handbag or not, but it was rather unusual. If you still have the tape try seeing the front side. I wonder if it was just me or did the front actually look like a pink bra with the straps as handles! Maybe it's just me!
Tamar spoke as dumb as she does on Pop Gun. I loved her outfit. Only if that front slit was more on the leg than the centre of the shirt. Road Tamasha guy is Yasir Qureshi's brother I think. I think Noor did a good job.
Did you notice that new host Irum? Looked better with her mouth shut. Amna Shafaat looked very diff. I still think she is pretty though. Looks younger than in faakhir's video. A couple of guys were cute too....well maybe one and a half.
anyone can just stand there and invite guests over to perform.. contributing "lab pay aatee hay duaa" as an excuse for 'sukhanwari'.. .. they are just eye candy.. and i didn't like the wrapper on that candy.. only looking out for the behens here...
Okay Tamar just sounded dumb, especially when she invited Strings to perform. The show was really nicely done, I really enjoyed it. That Yousuf Salahudin guy has a really nice house...I had no idea who this guy was until my cousin told me how he has contacts with all the celebrities and how he's friends with really well known people, etc.
Babez I'm actually glad you missed it :-/ Ali Zafar was totally dressed gay top to bottom. He had on this silky black shirt with offwhite flowers on it, and a long knee length coat. The cuffs of his shirt were folded over his coat sleeves. The flowers just didn't go. I was soooo disappointed.
Right Sehar! The boy needs to learn how to dance a bit. His outfit was awful. Who is that new movie star of ours? Some electrical engineer turned hero. He even looked cute in a few shots. Strings did a good job. Ahmad Jahanzeb changed the tune to his song! Thats the firts time I heard him talk and actually joke! Rahat Fateh Ali's song was good. Faakhir's performance was fun...had everyone on their feet. Todays Turkish Fashion show was as bad, as yesterdays Eid Show was good! It went on and on and on and was still going on. The only good thing about it...they didn't play 'The Godfather'! Bad part...'The Godfather' will take one more week to end! Will it ever end by the way? That peace concert better be worth the time. I am dead sleepy but staying up just for that crappy concert.
