Re: eid prep- taking days off
I LOVE Eid in the US. Spending it in Pakistan was terribly boring because I missed going to the masjid and seeing all those people you don't see regularly.
ISNA has already announced Eid for Saturday the 13th of October, so I was thinking of taking the following Monday off to recover from all the weekend eating and partying.

majboori thi, but i think if one is ABLE to take time off they should... only for the reason that you will never see nayone working on christmas.
Re: eid prep- taking days off
Well said Chee.....I have already booked few days off in Ramzan and Oct 12. Still thinking if I should take Monday off also.
It is all about making the effort....taking even a single day can make a big difference..

Darn, that sounds sad.
ouch..abay thats a recipe for burn out, take a day off now and then.
a bit rich coming from a guy who had 7 weeks of vacation time left over when he left his last job though, but unused vacation pay made for a nice down payment on my new car :D
Re: eid prep- taking days off
At the moment, my weekends are free. Which is probably why I'm not burnt out yet. But there are days...
