eid prep- taking days off

Re: eid prep- taking days off

^ Watch out. You're going to be labelled a disrespectful muslim for admitting that you actually committed to your classwork over sitting at home for Eid...

Re: eid prep- taking days off

I LOVE Eid in the US. Spending it in Pakistan was terribly boring because I missed going to the masjid and seeing all those people you don't see regularly.

ISNA has already announced Eid for Saturday the 13th of October, so I was thinking of taking the following Monday off to recover from all the weekend eating and partying.

Re: eid prep- taking days off

majboori thi, but i think if one is ABLE to take time off they should... only for the reason that you will never see nayone working on christmas.

Re: eid prep- taking days off

Well said Chee.....I have already booked few days off in Ramzan and Oct 12. Still thinking if I should take Monday off also.
It is all about making the effort....taking even a single day can make a big difference..

Re: eid prep- taking days off

LOL I agree...thats why I am happy to work on christmas.....less work and stress :D

Re: eid prep- taking days off

At the moment, my weekends are free. Which is probably why I'm not burnt out yet. But there are days...
