Yep, unless the new moon for the next month appears a day earlier and makes Ramadan only 29 days long then it will be on Friday...

(Do tell me what generally happens on Eid, you wear new clothes, but what else do you do, give money to the kids? Eat good food? Buy presents? Go to the musjid for prayers? Give money to the poor / charity? Is this what is also known as Bakra Eid, when Goats meat is eaten? If yes, what is the significance of the Bakra?)

All (or most) of the above usually happens on Eid. The Eid following Ramadan is called Eid ul Fitr. Bakra Eid (aka Eid al Adha) is when we have to give a sacrifice. It is only specific to the latter Eid.
