As for validity of Eie-e-Milad-ul-Nabi, even though I have no interest to prove it to anyone, nor there is any need for it, but fact is that:

1: Quran ordered Muslims to celebrate the day with feast.
2: Prophet (SAW) used to celebrate his birthday.

Actually, I have already showed that in my various past posts on this forum, but I know that it does not matter to anyone, so why bother.

Brother Saleem – one must not make tall claims by misinterpreting the Blessed Quran to prove one’s point.

1: The Blessed Quran has nowhere ordered Muslims to ‘celebrate’ day of the Blessed Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) day of birth with feasting.

Please care to show this ‘supposedly fact’ from the blessed Quran.

Everything that is ordered in the blessed Quran is very clear, unequivocal, direct and explicit.

The ayahs ordering Muslims to believe in tawheed, pray, fast in the month of Ramadan, pay Zakat, perform Hajj etc. etc. are direct, clear and unambiguous.

2: The Blessed Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) NEVER ‘celebrated’ his birthday!

All he did was to honour the day he was born (Monday) and he NEVER honoured the date he was born on. And he honoured this day by fasting and he did not order anyone else to follow suit.

There is no historical evidence of the Blessed Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) having annul celebrations of his birthday.

1. There is no record of his blessed Companions (May Allah Almighty be pleased with them all) celebrating his birthday.

2. There is no record of those who followed the Companions (May Allah Almighty be pleased with them all) nor of those who followed them.

3. There is no record of the four eminent Imams and their contemporaries (May Allah Almighty have mercy on them) celebrating his birthday.

Lady Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) reported that Rasoolullah Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

"For every people there is a festival, and this (Eid ul Fitr) is our festival." [Saheeh Al-Bukhari]

Anas ibn Malik (ra) narrated that Rasoolullah Sall Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

*“Allah has given you better than those festivals (of pagans): ‘Eid-ul-Adh-haa (festival of sacrificing) and ‘Eid-ul-Fitr (festival of breaking the fast).” * [An-Nasai and Abu Dawood; Sanad Saheeh]

So authentically Muslims have only 2 annual Eids = ‘Eid-ul-Fitr and ‘Eid-ul-Adh-haa.

Friday is the day of ‘Eid for Muslims on weekly basis

So those who do celebrate the Blessed Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are not as a fact following his Sunnah. They are celebrating the birthday of the Blessed Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) out of sheer love and devotion to him. And these people have no right to demean those who do not follow their way.

There are many other authentic ways to show one’s love and devotion the ‘Best of Creations’

Brother … what I wrote is true and I can prove that too. Rather, I have written on the topic enough in past to prove that (and many others have written on the topic to prove that too), but I know that it would not matter to you, and your only purpose is sticking with what you believe or brainwashed to believe, and now try to propagate your beliefs that to us is ‘belief of ignorance’. Only difference is that, you are talking, but others with your belief would do suicide to stop us celebrating.

In Quran, Allah says at various places that … if anyone see the proofs mentioned in Quran than it would be for his own good, and if anyone do not want to see the proofs than it would be his own loss. As for one who points the proof, their duty is only to point it out, and do not keep an eye on what others do (accept the proof or not).

Since I have pointed out the proof several times in past, I won’t argue neither I would like to care. Actually, I know that for some people, pointing out the proofs (that I have done several times) would make no difference, as they are not interested in knowing or learning, but their only purpose is argument, preaching what they believe or are told to believe, and that is all.

Actually, even though what you asked: Clear proof of celebrating Prophet (SAW) birthday from Quran, and concrete proof that Prophet (SAW) used to celebrate his birthday … I would tell you to forget that … I am not asking you to celebrate Prophet (SAW) birthday, neither I care, but it is ‘you and many others’ who want us Muslims NOT to celebrate Prophet (SAW) birthday … interfering in our beliefs and practices, and wanting us to get misguided and follow ignorance that they believe and follow, than, instead of asking for proof from us:

Why don’t you teach us so we can learn and I assure you that if you would do that, we would not insist in staying ignorant but would learn. You can do that (teaching) by giving us clear proof from Quran where it mentions that one **should not celebrate **birthday of Prophet (SAW) and **any concrete proof mentioning **that Prophet (SAW) **never celebrated his birthday? **

As for what I wrote earlier … mentioned below, I not only confirm it again, but believe on it 100 percent, so please read and think, which one of the 4 categories or groups you fall into :).

Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi is celebrated by Muslims allover the world wherever they are. In Muslim countries, Muslims celebrate Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi from Morocco to Indonesia, from Kazakhstan to Yemen. As for world, Muslims celebrate Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi wherever Muslims are present, from USA to China,From Russia to Australia.

I did not say that those who celebrate Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi are only Muslims and rest are Kaafir, Wahabi, Kharjees, etc. I divided mankind into 4 groups (or categories).

One can choose their pick. Groups I mentioned are:

1: Muslims who consider Prophet (SAW) as blessing of Allah, day Prophet (SAW) born as day of blessing from Allah, and these Muslims celebrate (or would like to celebrate) blessing and the day of blessing from Allah as Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi.

2: Humans who feel sad and tormented when they see people celebrating the day of blessing from Allah, and thus fight with whatever resources they have, voices, misinformation, propaganda, speeches, publications, pens, guns, knives (cutting throats of Muslims) or even with their lives (suicide bombings), so that this celebration of Muslims should stop.

3: People,mostly non-Muslims, who are indifferent of the occasion (Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi) because they damn care about Islam or what Muslims celebrate.

4: Muslims who damn care about the blessing Allah gave to mankind, especially to Muslims in the form of prophet (SAW), as they are too busy in their life problems and interests, are ignorant, or have no time for celebrations.
