Re: Eid Milad un Nabi Festivities
Everyone knows (who celebrate Milad or not) that Ajar is not for decorating your homes, ajar is more for sending darood o salaam and say providing food to poor. If a day is celebrated when people do excess darood o salam during Mehfil e Milad, share food with poor, etc , how does it got tagged with bidah? Aren’t these acts covered under good deeds as per Quran (Surah e Ahzab for Darood o salam, Surah Ma’oon for feeding poor)
People may say that why not do it on daily basis (sending darood and sharing food)? That got an answer as well. Its human psyche that they follow the environment. What is being observed by group, can’t be followed individually in same zeal. People do ihtimam for fasting during Ramadan, but many people who couldn’t fast during Ramadan for some reasons find it difficult to complete missing fasts in other days as there is no environment like Ramadan. Same is the case with festivity and ihtimam during Rabi ul awwal.
