Thats interesting that Diwali is celebrated differently in different areas. I think people from South are more energetic while celebrating festivals like Ganpati Asthapna (hope I named it correctly)

We call it Ganapathi or Ganesh chaturthi. ( I don’t know what chaturthi means)
