So folks, what are you guys planning?
For thanksgiving I’ll be making traditional cranberry sauce, some sort of string beans, I am thinking of steam roasting a whole chicken or if I can get turkey breast, I will roast it. Not sure what else to make.
For Eid, I am thinking of making something and taking it to the masjid… maybe cranberry walnut brownies???
I am not too good at making desi sweets or sweets in general so I want to keep it simple and easy.

Re: Eid and Thanksgiving Dinners
Gia, supper easy. get betty crocker brownie mix, add dried cranberries, and chopped walnuts and follow direction on the box. :D
Re: Eid and Thanksgiving Dinners
Why don't you do turkey and all the trimmings for Thanksgiving and for Eid have biryani and kebabs, the usual Eid fare?
I think the brownies are a good idea.
