Why is it when you’re all dressed up and looking hot, noone looks your way? I had pretty much given up on meeting a random stranger, and worry less about how I look when I go out. Its always jeans, ts, cargo pants - unless its a special occasion. Yesterday I was quite down, and I’m like why do I work out like a mad woman in the gym when no guy even looks my way (yeah i know, there are other reasons why i work out too!). Anyway, after gym, did some groceries and went home, then realised I had forgotten the chiqander (coz i love my chiqander gosht), and ran out in my tracksuit pants (which i sleep in sometimes) and a big t-shirt of my mums, hair tyed back - i looked a complete mess!! And thats when someone decides to hit on me 
in between me running in and out of the green grocers with a packet of chiqander in my hand. At first I ignored him, but on my way out I chatted a bit, established he was muslim and he let me know within a couple of minutes that he is looking to get married. Unfortunately he was not my type, but sweet and friendly enough and it made me realise that im not that repulsive.
Now I need a hottie who fits my description to come chasing after me.

its just a matter of running into the a specific person... the person u ran into i guess liked ure run down look.. some other time when ure all dolled up .. someone else who digs taht kinda thing will hit on u .... a variety of ppl out there... lets just hope u can find someone that digs u always.. ugly or beatiful :)
i must say its chuqandar and eww too.

May be he likes chiqandar too and he has not eaten chiqandar ghost for a long time. So my guess is it not your looks he is after he is after that chiqandar gosht. Invite him over, make the worst tasting chiqandar gosht, then he will leave you alone. :p

One of my friend is also like that - she can carry on a conversation with anyone, everyone... and comfy enough to go to their homes with just one request.

It wasnt on the street. It was at a rather plush shopping mall where only wealthy farts go and its just by my home.

by the by, i also chat to old women, fat mamas, car guards, sales people... which is why i do what i do. In my career I need to be able to talk to people of a very high calibre at any given moment. I dont often talk to random males however.

Aww, I also talk to strangers if they initiate first, out of politeness. But next time why dont you just tell a guy that you dont talk to guys on the phone? It usually works after a little explanation.

I think you were simply caught off guard and didnt know what to do so gave him your number without thinking about it.
Next time, you will be more prepared when you leave the house looking all hot in your track pants and t-shirts.
Sometimes, you get hit on when you least expect it and you're left thinking "What is wrong with him? I look like crap!"...but you really dont look like crap.

it doesn't happen very often but i'm too polite to refuse to give someone my number (is that what happened with u, catty?), so i usually give them a made up number. one time, a persistent feller actually dialled the number right then and there on his cell... and someone else answered! i was so embarrassed, i started walking away as fast as i could :-\
