i spent days n days to make a wooden model of F-15. i also completed it. in fact it have some thoughtful process involved in there, but i got very poor gradez
moral: think smart for the org but dont forget what ur boss is!
share your mistakes/mockeries/fiascos and what morals you generated from those blunderz of yours.
p.s. dont tell me fake stories that you never made any.
back in the olden days when we used floppy disks to save stuff… anyway, i saved an assignment but the disk screwed up and WOULDN’T read! took it to the IT office and somehow then managed to resuce it… phew! that was a clost call! from that day onwards, i ALWAYS send updated copies of my project to my gmail, as well as saving it on my flash drive…
and doing assignments a couple of days before the nigth before would be a help! :kaash waala peela aadmi:
Back in high school, we had to make a bridge out of those thin wooden sticks to see which bridge holds the most wazan. You bend a little bit and they break. Poocho mat , I got stuck with a lazy partner who didn’t do anything. I gave him the prints of the design so he could take it home and do his part while I do mines. Next morning, he came with totally different stuff which was totally useless. With 1 day left, I went back home and worked on the whole thing (from start) all by myself and stayed up till Fajr to finish it. Khair, mehnat rang layi and it turned out good and I got an ‘A’. I had the highest out of the whole school (it held 90+ pounds). BUT I did not get the gift(s) which the school was supposed to give me …Kanjoos kahi ke
Moral = Better to work alone which I always do than have someone who will not do anything and get the A for free.
*]Back in High School, we had to make the design for next city Sticker for the vehicles (for Chicago). The school would choose like 5-6 best drawings out of the whole school and send the original version. The top 10 out of all the High Schools would be published in the Newspaper. Once it is in the Newspaper, the voting would start and the one with highest votes would win. The winner would get $1000 gift balance and have his/her design as the next city sticker. Khair, I once helped out my friend in her sticker and she had hers published in the newspaper. She won 2nd place and got $500 certificate. The next year I decided to take part in it too. So I started on this ahead of time. I worked on it for several days and even stayed up late on the last night to finish it. The teacher already knew I was going to come up with something good and another art teacher (who also was the teacher of my friend who had won 2nd place the previous year) was impressed too. Khair, my teacher chose my drawing and decided to send it. It so happens that out Mr. Principle did not pay the fee which was supposed to be paid with the stickers so all the chosen drawings remained in the school and did not enter the competition
Moral = Before you attept to do anything like the one I mentioned above, please do ask your principle if will submit the fees
no, actually u need to bragg about your independent working abilities as well as your “tem work” skills… u cant be expected to work as a team all the time
your second anecdote remind me of my frndz’s anecdote.
"school choose frnd and 3 other students for scrabble competition. so they were given special provisions and grants to actually prepare for this competition but all they did was “fun”. according to them they were all prepared but the only thing stopped them from winning the competition was they went one day late the actual competition
my Moral: sometime being late help you from further embaressment. (sorry frnd )
(q in logoon nay sara time musty he ke thee :d)
oi, i got a job that way… it works that way here… actually i was asked about how well i can work by myself! so obviously this is something that is sought after!
if ya tell an employer that ur’e only good at working as a team member and not so good by yourself… trust me; theyr’e gonna pick u up and through u out! (not literally… thought I’d explain it since u a “simple” minded girl )

I can vouch for that too. Most employers wanna know whether you can be flexible and be a good team member as well as a strong individual. Because there maybe times when you'll have to be left a task, and they wanna be sure u can manage on your own.
Personally, i work better alone and get things done faster that way.
serious note: aray yaar they would like to have team player and entrepreneur-creative person (LIKE ME (MashaALLAH say))
i worked on individual basis that is why i get to the point where i get interview call ALONE (and not the everyone who worked besides me). so ur this point is UNDERSTOOD THING, so bring some better counterpoint.
