Really sad and shocking. I really wish we could stop blaming the politicians for everything that goes wrong. Something is extremely wrong with the mindset of these robbers.

If there is a semblance of writ of the government they should arrest the culprits. Maintaining law and order is the responsibility of the state, when the culprits know that the state is weak they’d do as they desire.

2)Keeping in view active bhatta mafia in Karachi why this huge wealth was stored at one place and insecure too? Aren't there banks, trusts, lockers in Karachi to store valuables there? Keeping in view how hides of sacrificial animals were robbed in past from Edhi people, keeping all this money and gold openly were just inviting robbers to get them.

anyone remember when one factory was burning in Karachi and lot of ppl died there was no rescue no police why because the whole Karachi police was at sharmila faroouqui engagement, the same happened wth edhi all Karachi kya Sindh police was busy wth Karachi jalsa n bilawajah ka Bhutto....

Big Hollywood style robberies have taken place in Europe too so I don't think it's as simple as that. Robbing from probably the most charitable person like that represents the lowest of the lowest form of humans exist in that city. Can I call them worse than ISIS?

before, even the Dacoits had some morals. they did NOT rob social welfare/charity centers. now, this type of crime shows the moral decay of even the robbers.

i also think that the money/valuables should not have been kept on the premises without high level of electronic/human security cordon. however, this also shows how bad the law N order situation in Karachi is and how inept/neutered the police is.
Qaim Ali Shah taking notice of the incident is just laughable as if the culprits would have been caught.

The money that this scum has robbed off Edhi helps give burial to the orphans, widows and similar scum that is disowned by their own family. They should be ashamed of themselves. We as a nation should be ashamed of ourselves for treating our hero like this.
