To be robbed by inside people :) Police should start its investigation with the people who were doing 'chaukidari' of this wealth.

1)This is inside job, people knew where the money, gold etc were stored
2)Keeping in view active bhatta mafia in Karachi why this huge wealth was stored at one place and insecure too? Aren't there banks, trusts, lockers in Karachi to store valuables there? Keeping in view how hides of sacrificial animals were robbed in past from Edhi people, keeping all this money and gold openly were just inviting robbers to get them.

we shouldn't jump to conclusions. just one person needed to know where the money and the gold/valuables were. that somebody could be anybody. also, a rumor could have reached the robbers and they were lucky to find the money and the valuables.
the police needs to investigate properly, not concentrating on just 'inside job'.

Edhi said in an interview that they have to keep cash on hand because Karachi k halat are bad and city close down for 2..3...4 days in an instant. Their daily expenses are 2 crore so they keep 2-5 days of cash on hand. All banks etc remain close during unrest in the city. makes sense.

it's an irony that if these robbers who robbed Edhi Centre get killed by police or in an accident, there is a great chance that Edhi Ambulance will pick up their dead bodies and give Ghusl and provide kafn N dafn for FREE!

True. It is basic control to have cash/valuables more than a certain amount banked promptly.
You would agree that the woman who is raped is at fault for wearing revealing or suggestive clothes?
They did not place money on street nor they were crooks hiding money earned from wrongful means or for wrongful purpose.

No one is judging. Just suggesting the reason why it happened. People are greedy; better not give them opportunity to take advantage of you. This is not the first time it has happened in Eidhi as well. This is not to suggest bad intention on the part of management but to suggest maybe the systems at Eidhi need improvement.
It is ABC of control systems in any organization, specially the ones which receive cash donations to bank the cash as soon as possible. This is the first thing any such organization should learn about management.
Even for a church: “The handling of church or nonprofit funds is an act of stewardship. So we should always do what we can to see that our organization’s resources are properly managed and cared for.”

Big Hollywood style robberies have taken place in Europe too so I don't think it's as simple as that. Robbing from probably the most charitable person like that represents the lowest of the lowest form of humans exist in that city. Can I call them worse than ISIS?
robberies happen every where, but I am sure the culprits would have been caught and punished. Will these guys get caught? Until we have a system in place where the culprits fear the law these things will only increase.
