“Ban this wretched book like “Mein Kampf” is banned,” Wilders, whose party holds nine seats in the 150-member parliament, wrote in a letter published in the local De Volkskrant newspaper and cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Wilders claimed that the Muslim holy book has no place in “our constitutional state,” claiming that the Qur’an asks Muslims to persecute or kill non-Muslims and to establish an Islamic state by force.
"I am fed up with Islam in the Netherlands: no more Muslim immigrants allowed.
“I am fed up with the worship of Allah and Muhammad in the Netherlands: no more mosques,” wrote the far-right lawmaker.
Earlier this year, Wilders pressed for a no-confidence vote against Muslim ministers Ahmed Aboutaleb and Nebahat Albayrak, questioning their loyalty to the Netherlands. He has also campaigned to ban the building of new mosques and halt all Muslim immigration.
Muslims make up one million of the Netherlands’ 16 million population.
One stupid MP uttering nonsense like that, wouldn't bother me. But if that guy does gather a following around him it might become a matter of concern. I'd like to hear from the Dutch guppies, how "important" that guy is in terms of public opinion in the Netherlands.
^^ he is an attention seeker. You will find people like this in no shortage in Germany, Holland etc. There is no need for public outrage. This will just give him unnecessary importance and provide the jihadis who don't know about it yet another excuse to blow themselves up.

Holland is very rich of such people, one of them had to leave not too long ago. She was actually born in a muslim family, and used to criticise Islam a lot. All based on her own baseless bull**** propaganda.
And she was allowed to become a parliamentarian in a major political party here.
Last year, it became public that she had lied about her identity during the political assylum process. So the Dutch government were forced to take away her Dutch passport, and she took off to the US of A.
Another one was murdered by a Maroccan muslim, who sits his life sentence in jail now.

On the one hand making all kinds of claims about how free a society they are and allowing such practices which even their fellow free western countries don't tolerate in the name of such freedoms and on the other denying a perticular segmant the most basic freedom of dressing according to their will.
and i disagree that most people know they would be discriminated against for their religion before moving there.

If Muslims can't respect the values and culture of the Netherlands, then they should move to a Muslim country.
Muslims need to stop being so obsessed with trying to install Taliban-style Shariah in the West. Contrary to popular belief, Muslims CAN live happily and peacefully in a non-Shariah country.
