Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
I dont even understand the title. Are you talking about the hadees narrated by Hazrat Aisha in Shumail-e-Tirmdihi of the story of 11 women who were sharing their marital secrets with each other?
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
dus bibi ki kahaniyaan all i know its read in betweeen pak girls once they do mannat n baatoofy some little sweets or ladoo,n it comes true....n its from bibi fatima s kahani thats all i know...i am trying to learan more..
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
It has no sharai value IMHO.. I dunno why people believe in such things which might even harm our imaan. I dont know about the story narrated in it, neither I know if it is true but the conditions after the story are weird. I remember it quotes that if you don't listen to it, your house will burn and you will have huge bad luck and if you listen you will have good luck etc etc..
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
U mean the stories are not true?
Badluck???Omg?

Don't tell me, a hindu friend of mine once told me same thing about some religious tale of theirs( about some Goddess) , if someone do not pay attention or listens to it, he get all the evils in the world... he was envy to our religion (Islam) that your Lord is not that ZALIM and said your ALLAH blesses you even if you don't follow his direct command...
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
my mother does that. i put up with it till i was 18 or 19 ... after that i was just not comfortable with it. it just didnt equate with my rationale.
one time i said no i dont want to sit for this, and my mom was like hawwwwww you dont say that .. and i was like if i cant say no, then you dont ask me next time. simple.
p.s. it's true ... only women do this ... not men ...
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
So wht is the moral of this dus bibi ki kahani? Can you ask your mother for some more info?
I
still didnt get the info that i am looking for? Koi Bare buzurg ko pata ho shahyad?
wht is the history behind this stories?
where can one buy this from?
Who wrote it?
Is it fromt he lives of our prophets?
HOw is read ? with women and are tehre anyother rules?
Do u read it after the mannat is puri? or before?
Any clue?
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
well ... its a story of a combination of miracles and punishments. at various points it includes a pious woman (Hz Ayesha) coming in the dreams of women who were in trouble ... and the pious woman would ask her to read the dus bibi ki kahani and ask for mannat, and have some sweets along .. and viola! she will get out of trouble. in other stories it talks about how someone refused to listen to the story or went against it, and he/she lost everything in life, went through a grave ordeal.
you cant sit for this if you're having your periods. only women can do this, no men. there is some mithai kept while reading this, and a glass of water. one women reads the entire story, while others listen. you begin with reciting the durood 11 times, and end with reciting the durood eleven times. at the end everybody phookofies in the glass of water. and eats a bit of the sweet. remaining sweet is bantofied amongst kids and women.
you cant do this alone, you should have more women. atleast 2 should sit.
men are not allowed to eat this sweet, neither are menstruating women.
the water anybody can drink
i am not exactly sure under what circumstances my mother would read this ... if am not mistaken ... she would manofy a mannat and say i will read this if my problem is over, or this goes the way i want. and when it did, she would read this.
maybe there were situations where she read it just like that, just in case she ever forgot to read it when a mannat was manofied.
who wrote? i have no idea. where can you get it from ... maybe a religious bookstore.
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
Perhaps a marketing strategy by the book seller :D Making fool of innocent people who would believe it like it was a word from ALLAH. Don't listen it and your house will burn.. what a ignorant belief it is.
Re: Dus bibi ki ka kahani
Ppl get upset when talk about Quran and Sunnah only but the fact is our Imam-e-Azam, Quad-e-Azam and Aalaa Hazrat, Muhammed Ibne Abdullah PBUH said:
Jaabir (R) narrated Muhammad(S) said, "To proceed: The best speech is the Book of Allah and the best guidance and example is that of Muhammad, and the worse of all things are the newly invented things (in the religion), for every innovation is a error and a misguidance." (Muslim)
So here goes the fear of not listening to this story down the drain. Be fearful of Allah and Allah only.
Salaam to all,
I have heard these stories myself...but don't exactly remember them. Once mufti Akmal (Qtv) answered the same question saying that these stories are not authentic..and some of them even lack adab (respect) towards the Pious Personalities. And also these conditions like men cannot listen and it should be only 10 women listening to it etc are not necessary (obligatory/fard) to act on.
And Allah Ta'ala Knows the best.

I've also heard and experienced when i was invited to read Dus bibi ki kahani, that pregnant women shouldn't be among those who are reading this.
We wen't to this family friends house, and their bahoo and my phoppo was pregnant at the time and they we're told to leave the room when we were reading and listening to the kahani.
