I've been to one such event. no idea what it was for and didnt understand anything (my urdu sucks terribly)
not sure how authentic it really is.
I went once to a neighbours house for this. That was before I got into Islam but now it just seems weird to me and it doesnt make sense to me. I wouldnt go to one again.
