Totally agree about the flashbacks, I don't really like Qavi khan for some reason (may be his red hair in meri sautan something), Nauman Ijaz on the other hand I think is suitable for the role because he is shown as 6-7 year old's father so anyone like him in their early 40's would have been OKAY
Qavi Khan doesn't bother me in this particular as much is My dear Sautan. That was disgusting Casting...He looks rather old to be Saba Hameed's hubby but to mention married to Sumbul Iqbal that just seems wrong. Looks like a pedophile in my Dear Sautan...I Wonder who does casting for A&B productions? Perhaps they are in need of a casting director.
As far as flashbacks perhaps its the writer's fault. Maybe we need to get the message to Umera Ahmed that NO MORE FLASHBACK DRAMAS....it is too frusting and difficult to watch.
What is with younger and older Durre Shahwar standing together? Is this suppose to be symbolic?
haven't watched the first epi yet. Frankly bored with the Haissam-Sanam duo. I'll probably catch 3-4 episodes at once - hopefully by that time the story has developed some. Haissam's first episodes are usually pretty good - uss ke baad train pathri se utaar jaati hai. Let's see if he can keep it together this time and not DROWN the dialogues under the BG score!
^^this role looks more appropriate for Qavi. That role where he plays Sumbul Iqbal husband with red hair and she wears a red robe just seems nasty (My Dear Sautan)!
DASTAAN was one of the best dramas ever. He can’t change the flow of the story so similarly I believe this time he won’t be to destroy the whole theme even if he would want to
oh yeah I agree Dastaan was GREAT! But after that Haissam has only given us average to mediocre plays. I hope that’s not the case with DeS. Hopefully Momal productions can keep him in check this time lol
