One gets a bit suspious with all this favoritism. It was kinda of the same with Hassan Zia casting Naheed Shabbir in all of his projects and baber javed had recently
Been casting Sammiya Mumtaz's ( Saba from mzzb) in most of his projects. There is soup much of a choice these days in terms of acting. So many educated girls and boys are choosing it as a career choice. Then why limit yourself to 1 female or male lead. Good casting is a big factor in a plays success.

I don't know if I'm going to be following this one as much as Humsafar ( already following 8 dramas per week and 2 soaps lol )
I wish they had a new face instead of Sanam Baloch. She's already in too many dramas these days. I'm glad Sarwat Gillani is playing Haniya, she took a break from tv and now looks fresh

Same here - after Haissam's below average direction in Akbari Asghari and KPB.... we are back with pretty much the same cast which is oh so BORING. The only new people he's working w/ in this serial are Nadia Jamil and Mohd. Ahmed. Baaqi saray REPEAT telecast.

? Are they going back and forth with flashbacks? They only aired 45 minutes f t in USA. Then they aired the repeat telecast of Humsafar aftershow.

i'm also sooo bored of sanam esp after the way she talks n acts in Nadamat. couldn't stand her. does anyone else feels that even though her face has lost that innocence look she tries hard to still look innocent?

i've watched only half of 1st epi. i'm developing a liking for it. Samina n Qavi make such a cute couple. is samina peerzada the aged version of sanam? ok may be hav to watch more.

ok I HATE SANAM BALOCH!!! why the hell is she in this amazing drama? can't stand her anymore...get her off the tv screen! LOVELY to see nadia jamil back! missed her natural acting! I really want to see what happens btw her character and noman ijaz...not really feeling the samina and qavi pair as haissam has conveniently ruined by dragging the scenes and showing flashbacks! when will these directors learn that ppl don't really like watching flashbacks anymore? its so old fashion now!

PLOT
The plot revolves around Shandana and Hyder who have been married for eight years but are now having problems in their marriage. Shandana goes to Murree with her daughter to spend the holidays with her parents, Durreshehwar and Mansoor. She cannot help envying her mother who has a devoted husband and is very happy, and subconsciously keeps comparing her husband with her father – until she learns that life is never a bed of roses and her mother’s happiness didn’t come easy.
What kind of name is Shandana? What is happening to Umera Ahmed?

ok so i like the first epi nadia jamel is worth watching but i m not liking both nauman ejaz n qavi khan nauman ejaz is looking very old for the role n qavi khan too enough of him
it seems interesting whts the story of dur e shawar wht happened in the past/ but i m not liking these small flash backs enough of this flash back in mei chand se

Totally agree about the flashbacks, I don't really like Qavi khan for some reason (may be his red hair in meri sautan something), Nauman Ijaz on the other hand I think is suitable for the role because he is shown as 6-7 year old's father so anyone like him in their early 40's would have been OKAY

i love nauman ejaz. only reason i wanna watch it. but Sanam is a good enough reason to NOT watch this. =\
