^ Sheesh, you really hate Shandana.

A lot of what they showed about her character is just normal, she’s a working mom. Just because her husband makes enough money doesn’t mean she has to sit at home and be a housewife/mother only. Haider’s main gripe seems to be just that…it’s kind of odd. Yeah, she’s def the nagging queen…but I’m sure she went into her ‘love’ marriage with different expectations. It’s the same old story of every married couple who complains…you’re in this routine and nothing’s really ‘romantic’ or ‘special’ anymore, and everything the other person says seems like a subtle jab or nagging. Shandana and Haider are pretty much portrayed to be the average couple of today.

As for younger Durr e…it’s not about her not getting salad lol, it’s more like she feels neglected by her new family members. She doesn’t feel welcomed by them. She thinks of how her own family is at the dinner table and it makes her sad. In situations where you feel you’re surrounded by hostile people, the slightest thing can feel like a stab in the back trust me. Sanam does a good job showing that.

I love the psychology/dynamics they showed of Durr e Shahwaar’s husband…I mean, as a hubby he’s terrible…but as a father he wants the best for his daughter. Really interesting.**

I dunno… the younger mansoor does seem to care about his wife a little. I think he is just torn between his family and wanting to show affection to his wife.

The scene where he brings bread and makkan for shawaar for brekky is soo sweet and then he just gets in trouble from his mum. Plus, all the scenes in Khaariyan.. show that he does have affection for her, its just in a different way.

I even liked the scene where he tells her off for calling from the PCO. He’s posessive about her in a very manly/angry way.
