Extensions, hair pieces, bumpits can all add volume.. I love the big hair look as well :)

Is there any way to get the dupatta to stay on your head, heavy or light, without damaging the fabric?
From what I understand, it's usually attached by poking pins through the dupatta... that kinda hurts especially if the dupatta is pretty :)

use those bumpits...i used them on my engagement and i danced and partied and it DID NOT MOVE AT ALL! the dupatta stayed the whole night..what fabric is it? Ask your hairdresser what would be best for u...but bumpits is a good solution...extensions mess ur hair up!
