Re: Dupatta on open hair

@rabia3983 you are soo pretty mashAllah and look great

personally I think open hair mostly look so messy on brides :s

Re: Dupatta on open hair

I have seen open hair (with curls) on nikkah and they looked awesome! if you are planning to wear a light dress or a kameez shalwar with a light dupatta, i believe loose hair is not a bad idea at all... Just add the curls and make sure that your dupatta is simple but elegant...

WOW mashallah!

Re: Dupatta on open hair

Thanks so much guys. Keep on posting more. I can't seem to find the right look yet. :(

Re: Dupatta on open hair

I think that open hair looks good if done elegently, subtle curls at the bottom or something.. also it depends on the neckline and the outfit in general.

^ the orange and green girl is stunning. I love the whole look. Thanks so much mahi!

Re: Dupatta on open hair

this looks nice.. my pic wud b to leave hair at the back, straight or even light curls... and wear the dupatta a lil back of the head... elegant

Re: Dupatta on open hair

Wouldn't recommend leaving your hair down because it'll just be in the way and might become annoying, also like everyone said it will get messy if the curls loosen up. A girl I knew left her hair down without even curling them and it looked as if she didnt get ready :/

how about you try it out first maybe before the big day?

MAKING THAT DUPATTA STAY ON YOUR HEAD!!

im getting married soon! and i want to do my hair open with volumized hair with dupatta on top, so it looks like really big...but the damn dupatta is soo heavy and i know its gonna slide off and not stay...any tips?

what fake hair tips to make it look big??

let me know!

Re: MAKING THAT DUPATTA STAY ON YOUR HEAD!!

I would guess alot of teezing and hairspray for the volume, but it would be important that the pinning of the dupatta is done so that less weight is on the actual top of your head - so perhaps more safety pins on the shoulders of your shirt… just a guess…

But that is really your MUA's head ache, not yours. She'll know what to do.
