Samina, don’t have pics of the exact thaals but here are a few I found:

  • Made by guppan, raneem:

Some of them are still incomplete. The “diya’z” and bowls are to be filled with candles, mehendi, oil, ubtan and chocolates etc.

This is a “mayoon” thaal. It is to be filled with ubtan, oil and laddooz.

This is for mehendi event.

The main mehendi thaal. It is to be filled with sweets, oil, mehendi and 4 paan leaves decorated with “gota” to be placed on hand of the bride and the groom.

This is made of glass, decorated with small glass bowls for candles, glass paints, beads and small mirrors. It is incomplete, though.
