I remember back when I was in gr. 6-7, I started wearing hijab for a few reasons, but the reasons weren't entirely Islamic.
Later on down the road I read on it and started observing it. To this day I regret what I did in the past (ie. taking it off). Although back then it didn't matter to me, but now it's something that makes me ashamed of myself.
If observing dupatta/hijab isn't a hassle for you both at work and at home/family, then perhaps you can continue on with it. Allah (SWT) barkat daal dain gay, insha'Alllah.

dont be so judgemental about urself and honestly, who really cares what strangers think of us.. be concerned about the people u love and who love u back. Anyone else’s opinion can be thrown outta the window..

If I were you Irem, I wouldn’t wear a duppatta on my head! :halo: I have never liked dupatta and besides I don’t even know how to keep it on for long. While I was in Pakistan, my dupatta usually mopped the floor as I walked. This happened so many times even when I was out shopping.
