how am I supposed to trust CBS, CNN etc when their anchors cant pronounce the name bhutto or pakistan, and they keep saying that benazir was running for the presidential elections.
unless she was sent to be the president and we just dont know about it

and they call themselves journalists, and I thought only our pakistan matric dhaka paas supply taking engineering college med college business college rejects dont work hard enough to be called journalists.
I mean if that is the amount of research they have done, thatthey cant get the basics right, how am I supposed to trust anything else they say.

Only if you knew the amount of 'research' that really goes into reporting here when it's foreign related, u'd quit watching news and start talking to people yourself. people still don't know the difference between Sunni and Shia.....but they know irack is being liberated! :)

On behalf of GEO TV, the fact that concerns me is, on the first day of the assassination, all day they ran advertisements promoting "Benazir Bhutto - Jaan Bahaq". The news casters kept mentioning "Shaheed" in their news updates, everyone they interviewed and otherwise didn't, all focused on the Shaheed part. Entire first day went by and the advertisement ticker still hadn't been updated. I was left thinking as to the nature of displaying such a thing, whether it had been incompetently overlooked or left alone due to a legitimate reason.
