Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

The Pallasades was looking a bit dull last time we were there - Easter time...

Is the Pavilions shopping Centre still there?

Manchester is also good for shopping....theres all the designer stores in the streets leading off the main shopping street and also Trafford Centre

Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

I was on ladypool road yesday, n this shop is closing down, hes got sum really nice bridal lengha’s for under 500, it used to be called sumthing with an ‘L’ forgot the name, it dnt hav the name of the shop up anymore… i dnt think anyway

Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

There were two shops in Birmingham dedicated to Dulha/Gents stuff...one on Ladypool road 'Dulhas' they had excellent stuff and the other Ahsans on Soho Road.

My sister absolutely shopped till she nearly dropped on Soho Road and Ladypool Road. When we got to Alum Rock the shops had closed, I don't think we missed out on much in Alum Rock.

Thanks for all the your help/guidance!

Just 1 more question...are there any decent shops in Leicester? which road are they based on? Might be going to Green Street and Southall too.

In Leicester there's some pretty good shops on Belgrave Road....a lot of designer stuff has opened up too.
Plus you can buy the accessories and stuff there really reasonably.
Oh and you can get your gold shopping done at the same time!

I'm in Leicester on Sunday...................

I'm originally from leicester! all the main shops are located on Belgrave road, its just one long road roughly 2 miles long. All stuff available is predominantly from India and u can find some absolutely beautiful stuff particularly the artificial jewellery and sarees. Theres a couple of shops that sell Dulha stuff. cant remember their names but basically if you start from the bottom end of the main rd and work your way, you'll see all the shops. theres a fantastic eating place called "the chaat house", not a flash place at all but it does the best gol guppay and Chaat ever. We've been going there since we were kids and absolutely love it.

let us know how u get on. Glad u had a good time down in brum and honestly u didnt miss a thing not going down Alum Rock!

Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

Thanks sisters.

Re: Dulha Dulhan Boutiques UK

We went to Belgrave Road and then down to Southall yesterday. Belgrave was really crap for men's garments...all old/indian style sherwani's and khussas apposed to the pakistani/punjabi style.

Southall was absolutely brilliant. Birmingham and London rock.

Anyone been to Mongas in Southall - they do bridal lenghas - quite reasonable prices.

If you like a lengha there but not the colour or the top they can alter it for you and it takes 5 weeks only - i really like a walima skirt lengha there but i want to get it in a different colour and top longer -
