Anyone know of any relatively cheap but good dulha/dulhan outfit boutiques in Manchester, Birmigham or London?

In birmingham, soho road, Alum rock road, and Lady pool road.

Alum rock road is pretty gud, last time i was there they had bridal lenghas at half price, so those which were a grand n over came down to 500-600 quid …and they had sum otherz for below 500 aswell which were initially 700-900 quid !! :k:

I didnt take note of the shop name tho’ :bummer: but its towards the bottom end umm by the Aziz store endz, by the traffic lights!

Err...Shamoli on Coventry Rd? And there's quite a few other shops on Cov Road too...then there's Alum Rock Road, Ladypool, Stratford, and Soho Roads...they all have numerous shops..

i think the shops down ladypool rd are much better than those down the rock. ( but there is a shop there specialising in just dulha stuff. I think its actually called "dulhas". Theres alot more variety and the clothes are classier.

I quite like Aleezay, Panache, Laaj, and World of Fashion on Ladypool Road - then again there's lovely stuff around Alum Rock and Soho Road.

check out silons,kirans and zoya on soho road, especially zoya as she gets her bridal dresses designed from dubai, and they are sickkkk! i buy most of my sarees and churidaars off her! chek em out.x

HI, sorry i meant to say on the ladypool rd. its towards the middle stretch of shops. To be honest i havent been inside it but i thought it was quite cool to have a shope devoted to dulha sahib! I think the stuff down alum rock is cheaper in price but not as nice in terms of design and quality. Ladypool rd seems to have alot more variety.

Dimpies on Soho Road.... and there's another shop near Roop by the traffic lights near Ambala - can't remember name of the boutique but they have amazing exclusive designs.

Ladypool road is very good for bridal shopping now.....
Stratford Road too.

And in answer to your question, yes, you can cover all in a day - depends what time you get there and where you're coming from. If coming from South use M5 Junction 1 and start at Soho Road, then Ladypool and Stratford Road and cut accross to Alum Rock after that.

Steer well clear of Bdial for bridal wear - upstairs. The designs are old and well over priced.

When we're in Birmingham for lunch we eat at either "Sajid's" on Alum Rock Road, "Lahori Kebab" on Ladypool Road or we get veggie takeout type stuff. Or you coudl always got o Ambala on Soho Road......

By the way - are you comeing from anywhere near Preston in the North?

its 5 minutes away from alum rock at a place called StarCity. i think sajids does the best burgers, i've never had anything from Lahore Kebab house on Ladypool rd, its been busted by environmental services a couple of times for poor hygiene and rats!

Silons was excellent....its where i got my bridal outfit from....and compare to london prices, for tht same thing it was cheaper in birmingham....but this is about 1.5 yrs ago...

You can't beat the Bull Ring Shopping Centre.
Just park up close by and take a walk into town...........you've got everything there.
