If you want to do it for yourself, then go for it.. You don’t HAVE to wear revealing clothes. I used to have one and I didn’t parade around showing off my stomach. I also have a tattoo that no one can see, but I got it done for myself - not for anyone else to see.

I think the belly button piercing fad started with Britney Spears.
