killed in double suicide bombing in Ashdod port
By Nir Hasson, Haaretz Correspondent and Haaretz Service
Nine people were killed in two explosions Sunday afternoon at the Ashdod port.
The blasts were caused by two suicide bombers.
Police on Sunday raised the level of alert across the country due to fears of an additional terror attack.
One of the bombers reportedly exploded just outside the main gate to the port at around 5 P.M. The second managed to enter the facility and detonated his bomb just a short time later in a centrally-located workshop inside the port.
Nineteen people were wounded in the blasts and ten of them are listed in serious condition.
innocent people on both sides getting hurt non stop due to an extremist group of terrorists on one side and an idiotic extremist government on the other side.
sad day, yet again..more innocent lives lost. shameful

Frd: I wanna know , for e.g. I am more powerful , I come along , evict you from ur house , put u and ur family in a refugee camp , don’t let u work , moreover if i send some ppl and kill a few of ur family members will u still hold a placard in front of the UN office.
1) If ur answer is yes then hats off to u mate! But remember if a lie is iterated as a truth for too long a time comes that the lie becomes the truth.
I will attack you, but I will not kill your innocent kids. That would make me just as bad as you.
these guys want to wage a war against Israeli military. sure, go ahead do that. But when they target innocent people, they can nto claim any moral superiority.
It still does not change what is right versus what is wrong. Tomorrow if some newyorker who lost his son on 9/11 decides to blow my head off, someone who had nothing to do with that, do you think its right?
Yes we are not in the situation the people are in and maybe we would have a different approach had we been in that position, but still there is no justification. Israel is wrong in its approach but it does not mean one has a right to kill innocent Israeili ppl.
Its not a question of being benign, but doing what is right.
whatever the underlying issue is, innocent people are still innocent people. If some dude kicks you out of your house, does his toddler have anything to do with it?
I understand their perspective, but these suicide bombers are doing the palestinians more harm than help.
Good one..we need few more of these to avenge the deaths of all the Palestinean being butchered on daily basis..more power to Hamas, and Islamic Jihad..
easy for you to say sitting compfortably in your room in Canada. If this si right why dont you go and outright support it and take part in it. or is it good as long as you dont have to actually do anything.
The innocent people who died did not deserve to be murdered. yes Israel has killed innocent palestinians and it is a pathetic situation. do 2 wrongs make a right. if one is going to oppose israeli killingof innocent palestinians, one has to oppose this too.
sometimes people listen to their feelings then to what is right or wrong .. the cycle of killing is just gonna get more innocent lives ... its really sick
Fraudz, i just say the way i perceive these events. I respect your opinion, but it does not apply in the realms of the situation. I support these bombings since, the palestineans are dealing with the enemy who absolutely has no shame whatsoever when it comes to dropping down innocent civilians. Even if the Palestineans stop suicide bombings, the Israelis won't. They would persist on killing and maiming, just like the way they have been in the past.
The collective punishment they unleash, and the collective punishment they shall enjoy. An eye for an eye..nothing less
israel will face a major dilemma as I heard in one programme. If things continue the way they are and a viable palestinan state is not created, then it may face teh dilemma of palestinians abandoning an indpendent state argument on the basis that it is not going to be a viable state and then demand one person one vote rights and citizenship.
Fraudia, Israel has already rejected that idea, Hamas and its supporters believe that Israel has no right to exist, they are not ever going to get the right to vote. The walls will be built up until someone in the PA decides that Israel has a right to exist and does something about it. The suicide bombers are already struggling to get into Israel as you can see the number of "successful" missions dropping, it's not because Hamas and friends aren't trying but because Israel security is getting better and better at stopping them. Israel is going to leave Gaza (after leveling the terrorists infrastructure) sometime late this year or early next and create even more secure boarders and disengage in any more talks with the Pals. This will be a victory for Hamas, may they enjoy the rewards that come along with it.
well what are the poor palestinians suppose to do when they are being kicked out of their home, without any back up from super power? besides US kills millions for every person palestinians kills and no one seem to care about that.
Close to 1 million jews were kicked out of Arab countires, how many Pals left to join the fight against Israel in 1948 and how many were actually removed? I'm sure there's a thread dealing with this history, no? The U.S. does not train to kill citizens as Hamas does. Was this thread about the U.S. ?

The exodus of Arab jews was a reaction to the creation of Israel..unlike the pro active anti jewish policies of the Western World. It is a well known fact that the Haganah actively encouraged the exodus of Palestinians from territory designated as theirs according to the partition plan.

Not that I have anything against jewish people... infact, I have alot of respect for people who actually follow the judaism religion in detail... but I too tire of the west's pro-jewish ideologies, which obviously stem from the guilt they feel for various assaults on jewish people in europe over the past 1 and a half millenia or so. When will the day come that the west will back down and simply allow middle-eastern politics to proceed untampered, for, as we all know, friends, if Israel was in exigency of western military and financial support, it would fall horribly. The fact of the matter is, had the west not constantly intervened or provided the isreali government with the weapons by which it might slaughter children in order to weaken an entire generation of palestinians, then the arab nations would have possibly united to conquer israel and protect the palestinians.
