Its too hot till october for any outdoor activity. Indoor activities are mainly mall hopping.

It's 50 C right now. DON'T COME. lol. but seriously.. waaayyyy too hot for any out door activities. If you would rather spend your vacations in ONLY malls, sure then come, otherwise it's too hot even at night.
You can come starting November onwards, the weather is quite pleasant then.

I would recommend Bur Dubai one, they got a bigger parking lot.
want a change ireland isnt too hot ... bt we r planning ths trip at the end of Aug...hopefully the weather will b better then current
End of Aug and early Sep weather will be fine, Dont know what you like to see, but most of the tourists to Dubai likes Deira Gold Souk (Market), Deira Spice Market, Dubai Fountains, Dubai Mall, Downtown Dubai, At the Top Burj Khalifa, Marina etc., and beaches, dont forget the beaches. And also do a Desert Safari if the weather allows.

The first time I went to Dubai was in August n I found it fine, although its a lot colder here in Ireland.

Abu Dhabi:

Dubai is a beautiful place to visit during December to January. Winters are the best in Dubai! The Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, The Atlantis, Palm Jumeriah and Wild Wadi are some of the must see destinations!

I think you can if you are traveling by any UAE airline. I once applied and got visa in 4 days from France. I applied through Emirates but I had to purchase ticket first and then apply online.
