Rabbana Hablana min azwaajina wadhurriy-yatina, qurrata 'ayioni wa-jalna lil-muttaqeena Imaama

O my Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous[25:74]

this ayat is for BOTH men and women--to bring a good spouse into their lives. It is also for a healthy marriage afterwards. So you should say this ayat all the time, even after marriage.

O my Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me[Surah Qassas; 28:24]

The above du'a was made while Musa (alayhis salam) was traveling to the desert of Madyan, and he had no shelter - nowhere to stay for rest. He made this du'a while resting under the shade of a tree, and consequently the father of the two sisters in the story invited him to stay with them...

the above ayat is also good and can be prayed for EVERYTHING....including marriage...:):):) say both together after praying two rakat nafal duaii hajat

can you please post a picture or a link where we can read it in arabic? it's really nice of you that you put it in roman urdu but while reading arabic even small tiny mistake counts so it would be great if you can post a link or picture where we can see it written in arabic

You should also be regular with your namaz and pray at the end of every namaz--InshAllah all your desires will be fulfilled

i posted it before in a thread yanzala started. i'm posting it again here.

some one told me for marriage to recite surah maryam after isha daily.

the procedure is:

  1. Recite durood-e-ibrahimi three times
  2. surah maryam 1 time
  3. make dua that Allah (swt) bless u with hubby which is compatible, caring, loving and understanding. + whatever u want.
  4. recite durood-e- ibrahimi 3 times.

after isha prayer recite "Aayah no. 36" of "Sorah Yasin" , 313 times **for **21 days.

the most important thing is have faith in Allah. us nay jo bhi jahan bhi hamaray liyay likha ho ga Inshallah hamari sooch say bhi acha ho ga. offer nawafils and keep praying with faith.

My mom said read bismillah 1000 times and ayat ul kursi 11 times before and after reading bismillah. Oh and I guess you have to set a time and reat it the same time everyday.

^Your mum read it for whom? you or someone else or herself? i want to know if one can read it for others...

Well the mom and the girl who wants to get married, both can read it. It is good if both read it and preferred that the girl should read. I think you can start it for someone making niyat for that person.

My mom didn't read it for anyone. Some aunties were talking and one of them of them shared this wazifa.

We should all try and be really careful when it comes to Wazeefahs (I've seen its adverse effect on people and its not pretty). Best (and safest) to stick to the sunnah with regards to dua and prayer. Look at what the Prophet SAW and Sahaba r.a did during times of stress and follow that. There are heaps of Quranic and Masnoon (from ahadith) duas one could use. and the one prayer that the Prophet SAW really encouraged his Sahaba to offer is Salat-ul-haajat (2 nafil followed by haajut ki dua).... if you note the meaning of the dua, it is very much applicable to every stress/ need one could ask for!

Also, invest in some tahajjut prayers. That is one of the most precious times to beg to one's Lord :)

Honestly wazifa is just another word for prayers... all you are doing is reading surats from Quran or ayat ul kursi and making dua. Anyway, I guess different ppl have have different takes on it.

har namaz k baad 100 martaba ism-e-paak YA-LATIF-0 ,parhain awal aakhir 3 bar Durood-e-Ibrahimi.

aur daily Tahajud aur 2 rakaat salat-ul-hajat parh kar ALLAh say dua karen.

well, my agreement was only for that it is best to pray extra nafl and make dua.

adverse effects usually occur when you go overboard with wazeefas and read them 24/7. None of the above mentioned prayers sound like they can drive anyone insane.
