dua for shadi

this girl was asked to read something 500 times after every isha prayer... and she continued this for about 3 months... only to find out from another Maulana said that such a wazeefa wasn't helping her at all, rather increasing her chiRhchiRhapan... she started getting irritated at everything and would snap at anyone, anytime (which was uncharacteristic of her).

i never said that those listed above would have adverse effect, I just said to be careful with 'em :)

but I guess the main point was that if the Prophet SAW has already shown us how we should deal with such situations, then why turn to wazeefas?

Re: dua for shadi

what is namaz hajat?

very good topic. in my family all of us girls as we would grow up (like college age and stuff) and whoever was next in line, my phupo would tell us all what shanayle recommended. reading ya-lateef-o after reading durood three times before and after. the general rule was to read one tasbih (or however many, preferably in odd numbers, as in one tasbih, or 3 tasbihs, or 5, 7, 11 etc) after isha ki namaz. however, from what she told us, we were to read this when noone else was in the room.

and needless to say, all of us should be regular with our namaz. also, she told us for after marriage, to always read in the same way ya-azeez-o for harmony and love with your spouse and a successful married life.

also, i agree with what people are saying above for a 'wazeefa'. ive never done any such thing, and close to the time when i got hooked up, i read what we were told to read, but not regularly, and sometimes not even in any certain numbers. there's really no concept of numbers in islam. Allah hears us even if we call out to Him once.

vital signs, namaz hajat, is basically nafil namaz. that means you read 2 rakah nafil namaz and do a niyyat for a hajat ki namaz. hajat basically means need.

two rakats of nafil followed by the following dua:

Inshallah Allah will open u're naseeb, just be regular in prayer AND give charity.

Different wazifas

Recite Surah 'Alam Nashrah' 17 times in such a way that after each verse say the name of the one you love, and his mothers name, and your name and your mothers name, and then recite:

'allahumma alqi muhabbatann 'ala qalbinn'

When the surah is complete, then blow what you have recited onto a whole black pepper, and burn it on a coal.

Repeat this for 3 days after the Fajr salah, insha'Allah, love will exist in the one you want to marry.

The most important wazifah, or du'a, that a person can do, for any worldly gain, or for gaining in the akhira, is to pray the five times salaah, and make as much recitation of the Qur'an al kareem, as possible.

It is only when you start doing this, that other du'as, will start to have a positive effect. Otherwise it is no use, as what good is a ceiling when there are no walls, or what good is a roof, when there are no foundations. However in finding the right spouse, the following is very useful:

'Subhan alladhi khalaqal azwaja kullaha mimma tumbitul ardu wa min anfusi him wa mimma la ya'lamun'

'Pure is He who has made all pairs of what the earth grows, and of themselves, and of those things, of which they have no knowledge' (36:36)

This verse must be recited 3313 times after the 'Isha' salaah, for a period of 21 days. You must also recite any *'Darood Shareef' *11 times, before and after the recitation.

The best of duas are those that are heart-felt. Make dua from your heart, out of neediness and slavehood…

Here is a website with the Dua in arabic..then translated in urdu and English…
You can also listen to it (icon is on the top page) for proper Tajhweed.
It is recommended to pray 2 Rakat and then recite this Dua’a from your heart…

I couldnt help but quote your post because that's the wisest piece of advice around here.

What the F is that?? Sounds like some cult sh!t to me rather than Islamic.

Meaning if a guy does not love you or wants to marry another girl, you create havoc in his heart / mind by reading such 'wazifas' to make him start loving you????? I am sure this kind of sh!t is NOT advocated by Quran rather this is what is called 'MAGIC' and there are prayers in quran to stay safe from people practicing this kind of cult sh!t.

Guys and their families should be warned to beware of such marriage prospects who are into this kind of 'wazifa' reading practices. Because such girls will have no qualms in falling into the worse kind of 'magic treatments' for the problems arising later in the married life related to their husbands or their families.

Guys and girls should be ware of not giving out the names of their mothers to strangers to avoid getting trapped in this kind of sh!t.

A woman who was alot into this kind of 'wazifa' reading practices was having serious issues in her married life. Her inlaws against her and after their son to divorce her and marry another. She started reading practically everything that people would tell her to to 'improve' her situation. She blindly followed as she was desperate to save her marriage. At one point, she started to have psychological issues. She bumped into some witch who told her to follow some new dirty practice which was definitely NOT Islamic. She knew that but by then because all those 'wazifas' she was reading were providing the opposite results that she gave that new dirty thing a try. I do not know the details of what she did. All I know is that it was some 'dirty' cult and in no way Islamic.

Within days, she had her hubby all over her in every sense. Again, I do not have time to state the details here. That lasted a year or so. Within two years, things got so bad for her again that her lovey dovey hubby divorced her along with their 3 kids.

As any true Islamic scholar will always tell you. True islamic solution to ANY problem is nothing but keeping regular PRAYERS and DUAS. And as someone else suggested above, 'TAHAJJUD' prayer is the most precious of all the prayers and has too much sawab. I read somewhere that ANY dua made at 'Tahajjud' time is NEVER rejected. The only condition is that your dua should come out from your heart. No other solution can beat that. Wazifas to avoid at best and any kind of other cult practices has no significance in islam but that comes from hinduism.

Re: dua for shadi

true...wazifa can go VERY wrong....so ask an imam before you recite something!
and dont try too many at the same time..

i can tell you by my own experience...i used to recite 4 wazifas....
something crazy happened to me and i started to be extremely scared of death, people, life and almost EVERYTHING......i was in depression all the time ..i cried day and night, couldnt smile bla bla..and life felt like a heavy burden..and i wnated to commit suicide´..i had alot of problems---..and all that

i went to pakistan and I met an imam..he told me to stop all the wazifas..and when i did it..everything went alright at once...all the problems were suddenly gone and i wasnt afraid and so on...lol...so be careful

so ask a imam before you recite something..because the wazifas can be very heavy..and we normal people cant recite all of them

Oh my, must be side effects of that black pepper burning on coal thingi. Good that you realised your mistake and stopped practicing that cult. Beware in your future life also or you would be enticed to get into some worse cult to retain that Paki guy, LOL.

Re: dua for shadi

i guess reading surah yaseen is the best:)

Re: dua for shadi

can i read surah yaseen for prblms in getting married becoz of my inlawss fiancial prblms etc? or anythnig else

Re: dua for shadi

If you want something, just ask Allah (SWT).

People underestimate the power of du'a. You can make du'a at any time, but there are specific times when your du'a may be 'listened to' more. I'll give you some examples from the top of my head:-

  1. The last third of the night. This is after Witr and between Fajr. The later, the better.
  2. Between the Adhan and Iqamah.
  3. On Fridays. There is a specific hour where Allah (SWT) grants any demand. Subhan'Allah.
  4. During sujood.
  5. At the end of fard salah.
  6. When it rains.
  7. When visiting the sick.
  8. When travelling.

There are many more examples which are backed by authentic ahadith...

Keep making du'a and be patient. Insha'Allah your wishes will be fulfilled :)

Re: dua for shadi

INSHALLAH jazak ALLAH if u know any other dua tell me i will be thankful

Re: dua for shadi

Make a dua from your heart with belief, if wazifas help build your belief then use those. both are acceptable and just as effective.
