omg tell me about it.
whenever i try to find something online. all i see is full kaam jora. who wears formal jora on eid. wo b garmi wali eid.

You have no idea…maybe in Pakistan it’s different?

I’m in NYC and I’ve been to Eid namaz where women wore full kaam walay joray including sarees and 10-year-old bridal lenghas.
Chand raat–girls with their hair done in huge up-dos, full makeup, and fancy kaam walay joray
lots and lots of heavy joras.

Funny thing is, when I end up dressing up, everyone around me is dressed down, when I dress in lawn, everyone else wears heavy stuff.

Omg I have the same issue!! Eid wear for me is semi formal but I feel so dressed down when everyone else is in kaam Walay suits! I don’t get it, why SO heavy? if I’m in casual wears (when I should be) people are still dressed so over the top!

suggestions for colors what to buy ...i have lots of sea green, blue,brown dress now i want something different but confuse which color looks good on me for eid as this i my first eid after marriage:)

im getting a cherry red dress and a powder blue dress from chineyer :) they are semi formal, perfect for first eid after marriage :P

Generation has some very cute clothes but they are more towards the casual side. Closer to eid they do launch a formal eid collection.

No no its not exactly lawn...Its super soft (i was almost tempted to make my hubbys eid kurta of the same material since he keeps complaining about all kurtas being thick lol) and basically is like a thinner version of linen (what we wear in winters)...looks like silk but is pretty cooling in khi heat!
