When you have a dream about someone, whether its good or bad or a weird dream…do u tell them? are u even supposed to tell them?
Re: Dreams
:D
if its a bad dream like really bad about some one I know, I get some soda and popcorn.
Re: Dreams
I don't know about that but when I was a teenager I used to get extremely pissed if I'd wake up from a dream that I was really really "enjoying"....I was so naive that I would try and go back to sleep quickly hoping I would catch up where I had left... :D
Re: Dreams
:D
I use to do that too.
I guess once I did catch the show where I left of.

Are you for real? I don't believe it.
Re: Dreams
I think I did.
Re: Dreams
Your not suppose to tell anyone your dream...at least that's what I heard...there is some Islamic reasoning behind it....(But sometimes you just can't help it...right) ...
Re: Dreams
and what if the dream in very very un-Islamic...;)
One of my friend's mother (this was ages ago, like 12 years ago or something) dreamt Hazrat Mohammad s.a.w. and told her family about it and had a really high fever for the next few days. I've heard that if you do see a religious figure in your dream, you're not supposed to tell anyone?? May be her fever was only due to fear.
When my nana abu passed away in 2007, I was in Ireland, miles away from Pakistan but I slept for many days with my room light turned on. For some reason, I was really really scared. This was my first time experiencing the death of a close family member.
One night, I actually felt like nana abu was standing beside my pillow and running his hand through my hair. It was so real!! I woke up all sweaty, and my heart was pounding like crazy! I still think it was real... I didn't tell anyone about it though... well I'm telling u guys, but I'm just typing it you know. Haven't talked about it to anyone.
My aapi however, also saw nana abu in her dream and told us about it and she was in a shocking state when she was telling us about the dream... she was so shaky and could hardly speak... So I think I did well by not telling anyone about my dream/experience.
:hinna:
that not unreal. I had similar experience too.
^ I'm sorry to hear that.

I heard ure not supposed to talk about the bad dreams (nightmares). but good dreams can be shared?
what I find weird is...ill have a dream about someone i hardly know, aur woh bhi repeatedly. I dont know why that happens.

I still do that. :(
Re: Dreams
^ I think we are talking two different types of dreams. You prolly are woken up in the middle of a shopping spree.
Re: Dreams
Sara nothing happens if you even talk about them. IF don't talk about them and keep thinking then you start dreaming more.
Also If you pray isha every day you become more preceptive for those dream. you start seeing them more clearly.
Brain become well tuned radio I guess.
Thats what you think ![]()
one of the best dreams i ever had…surrounded by cake… ohhh cake.. ![]()
Re: Dreams
Sara , your questions reminds me of an adult mullah joke. I cannot tell it here though. I am just laughing and others are staring at me.

Yea that maybe the case....but sometimes i have really weird dreams...there not scary or anything...but there not normal in any sense...I should stop watching random movies before going to bed...
Sent it your way but forgot to write astaghfarullah at the end.

Oh and yes from the nicks I cannot tell if someone is male or female. My nick is taken as a female nick many a times.
