Re: Dravidians and Africans
Yes, its true - Dravidians are African descents. I learnt that at school.
First Go and change your school if you are studying there , otherwise study from starting again from good school you got all wrong concepts :)
Re: Dravidians and Africans
Ok Muslims are white, hindus are dark skinned. When I see Pakistani muslim in a group with whites, its so difficult to distinguish them.
Re: Dravidians and Africans
not pure gora but tanned or more very light-brown skinned.
Yeah very close. You guys are almost there. Use Fair & Lovely and then you will not need Visa's to travel to Europe and US.

I agree. However, if I remember correctly, C5 Dravidians that are related to C4 Australian aborigines belong to non tribal, usually, lighter skinned upper castes. In addition, light skinned Moguls were also C3 and just as closely related to the Australian Aborigines as the C5 upper caste Dravidians. Furthermore, C haplogroup is also present among light skinned Japanese. Therefore, one cannot draw conclusions about dark skin colors of South Indians based on some ancestral relation to Ausralian aborigines. Also notice, haplogroup L that is most common among dark South Indians is frequently observed in lighter skinned central Asians, Afghans, Pathans and Punjabis etc.

^^ proof please
Re: Dravidians and Africans
mercenary,
Haplogroup C4 is found only among Austrailian Aboriginies and not Indians. Haplogroup C is also found among Japanese and Central Asians:
Genghis Khan’s haplogroup is C3

C5 in upper caste Dravidians only: Correction. Recent data from Sengupta seems to suggest that C5 is also found among some tribal Dravidians in addition to upper caste Dravidians.

Re: Dravidians and Africans
I dabble a little to pass time. According to Y-Chromosomal DNA Variation in Pakistan. Am. J. Hum. Genet. 70:1107 1124, 2002., Pathan and Kashmiri most frequently belong to haplogroup HG3 or R1a. (40% of Pathans and 60% of Kashmiri belong to R1 haplogroup). There are also significant numbers of HG1 in these populations. In addition, there is a sprinkling of haplogroup HG9 (J) among them. BTW, if you get tested and you are haplogroup HG2 (G/I) or HG28 (L) then the study seems to suggest you could be a Pathan, but not Kashmiri. Also, noticehaplogroup H, O and C are absent among Pathans and Kashmiri, according to the study.
