take salil ankola he is considered both marathi and kannada. ankola is name from a region in karnataka and so is kumble..
the border areas poeple share common culture.
my point being fair and dark skinned people are everywhere and in every community of india.. and for most pakistanis marathis are south indians even for indian punjabis.
