According to Muslim belief Islaam (lit. Peace in Submission to God) didn’t start with the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him), we are taught God revealed it to every people in every era through different Prophets (peace be upon them), the labels for those religions might have been different, Allaah might have been known as Jehovah, Yazdan/Ahura, Ishwar etc. but the essential message of Monotheism (devotion to God alone) and righteous deeds was the same, later the followers of those religions changed the original religions and invented polytheism, trinity, personification of God etc. Some of the past forms of Islam we know in detail (Judaism, Christianity, Sabeanism) others we don’t know about as that is not important for our salvation because with the revelation of the present form of Islaam all past religions were abrogated.
You said that Hinduism is the oldest religion on earth, it certainly is not, maybe one of the oldest organised religions still practiced today if you relate it to the Vedic/Indra religion of the Indus Valley but then again that is not the same as the current Gangatised/Dravidianised Hinduism of India. Like its cousin-religion (Zoroastrianism) it itself is a descendent of the European pagan religions and developed in Pakistan before it got modified in Ganga Valley (India) to the current form.
No scholar says Hinduism is the oldest religion, this is Hindutva propoganda. Vedic-Dharma might be one of the oldest religions still practiced today as most of the other pagan religions (its prdecessors) have become extinct but present Hinduism is very vague and there’s no one way of practicing it so it’s not really the same as the Vedic religion, like I said even though Hinduism holds the Vedas as sacred today it’s completely different from the Indra worshipping Vedic religion of the Indus Valley..
besides Abraham (peace be upon him) lived roughly around the same time as when the Vedas were being composed and he is the spiritual and physical fore-father of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and his cousins the Hebrew Prophets (peace be upon them).
Dont cook new theories. Google and browse what was the god of harappans. it is shiva (also called pashupathi)which still now is. this is the proof with pictures
and who said vedas preach monotheism???..it also teaches pantheism and even agnosticism.
