the issue is not if an actor is fat or slim but the fact that he/she should fit the role.
here sara is a girl(read woman) for whom umer has rejected a cute girl like shehla and another character is dying to marry her, and both of these men are handsome and desirable themselves, so the character of sara needs to be attractive as in general. moveover sonia rehman looks aged with these men.
i agree just because of sonia i couldn't like the drama until after her divorce with umer.

I just read a review of the drama and find the ending of the drama as follows:
Umer tries to divorce to Shahla, but Sara decline him to do so, for the sake of humanity and his daughter. In the beginning the life was not easy for them as the past, horrifying them with shame and guilt. But soon they manage to live happily. Shahla, for the rest of her life, could�ve unaware of their wedding, after 20 years of uninformed truth, she first time in her life went to Umer�s office, as her car tyre was punctured, and when she introduced herself as Mrs. Umer. The Office workers were refusing to accept her as they only know One Mrs. Umer. Shahla in anger took the address of Mrs. Umer and when she saw Sara there, got shocked and return home quietly. Umer returns to home knowing about her discovery, told her the truth, adding about his decision of divorce, declining by Sara, and offer her, to admit the current situation, as it is, or could leave him after having the Divorce. Shahla is now at a two way path, and could not decide for the Destiny of Life.
But what i watch in on vidpk last episode it was not 20 years passed. only after 5 years umer give her option to get divoice and told him that he is going to marry Sara, he told her every thing.
Now i am confused that what i watched was not the ending. Is there still the last scene which i missed??
