Thanks.
That's my understanding and belief as well.
What about Hazrat Abu Bakr's statement?
Thanks.

Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
so the prophets are alive in their grave and accept what is happening around the world? is that right? They are breathing in their grave, is that right or did I get something wrong?
If yes, what a joke. what a joke!
Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
This has been a major conflict between Bharelvis and Deobandis for years. The topic of "Noor" and "bashar". After listening to both of them and their logic, I realized that there are infinite dimensions to this discussion and both of them would come up with very strong reasonings in support of their beliefs from Quran and hadith.
I think Maulana Maududi was right when he was asked the same question on TV in 1971. His reply was
"You won't be asked this question on the day of judgement. Try to focus **more **on those things that would be asked from you which Allah and the Prophet (saw) told you to do."
It is better to not put intense force on our mind in trying to think over things which are beyond our mental capabilities.

All the Prophets' bodies are alive (this is comfirmed by sound hadith) and those of false Prophet's are not.

Then what happened to graves of 123998 Prophets , where are those graves now ?
This kind of reasoning can turn some people away from religion, you know. If I believe in the preservation of the dead body of Holy Prophets (AHA) then I would like to see their graves too , they should have been preserved too.
Now we know the grave of our holy Prophet (SAW) is in madina , Hazrat Esa were taken to Heavens but what happened to graves of other 123998 Prophets ? Where are those graves ?
Does it really matter whether Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is really dead or alive? or where the other prophet's graves are?
We do not worship prophets or their graves. When we pray namaz or say durood, all the prophet's get the blessings whether they're dead or alive. Allah is the only one we worship. We should have love for all the prophet but don't forget they were just the messengers of Allah.
May Allah guide us to the right path, the path of Prophet Muhammad sal-lal laho alaihay wa-alihi wasallam. Ameen.

Brother?/Sister? Mirch I didn't say that their graves are preserved! But their bodies! This is confirmed by the sound hadith.
Some of the recent Prophets' graves are known in Palestine.
The graves of other 123990+ are known only to Allah (swt) - leave alone their graves we don't even know of their names or whereabouts to be exact.
That's what I had said:
That is ilmul ghayab. Prophet (saw) status is in the highest heaven and is alive.
I didn't mean to say that the Prophets (peace be upon them all) interact with the alive as if they were alive in this world.

It is your brother. Logic dictates if their bodies are preserved so should their graves be preserved too.
I agree that it does not matter if their bodies are graves are preserved or not . But a baseless statement can make some people leave the religion. Everybody is not at the highest level of Eman.
I agree with you brother Mirch - we should note the Allah (swt) did not even preserve their message or Shariyah except that they called to Tauheed. Worshipping none but one God.
Exactly, That is and should be our belief.

Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
this is such a koo koo thread. Every one who lives has to die. Why should that be disrespectful to believe for a messenger who came to remind all of us of death and life after death?
Does it really matter whether Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is really dead or alive? or where the other prophet's graves are?

The only sensible reply thus far.
The word 'dead' means 'deprived of life', 'innate' etc, it can't be used in any other connotation (not seriously at least).
Soo, yes, the Prophet (PBUH) is dead.
Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
So, when Quran says do not call Martyrs to be dead; they are not dead but you percieve it not....
We still treat their bodies as dead, burry them... pray for them... because they have tasted the death... their soul is captured ... but Quran says they are not dead; but you percieve it not...
Does it make people leave the religion...?
Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W…
Two things I learned from this thread. If you believe Prophet :saw: died then you are a Kafir and if I just follow Quran and Hadith and don’t practice innovation (bida) then I am a Wahabi/ Salafi.
I am a Wahabi/ Salafi.
I dont think that you know what you are talking about .. Wahabis and salafis are miles away from each other and you use them togther in your comment like they are one and same

Read post #4. I was responding to that post. I don't believe wahabi & salafi are same.
Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
Humans all leave earth one day, their bodies are joined with dirt. We all came from dirt and to dirt we return. It is our ultimate destination that none of us have a right to predict.
I have to agree with the post that mentioned the saying of Abu Bakr Siddique (r.a.). That pretty much sums it up.
Re: Dr. Zakir Naik refers to Muhammad S.A.W....
Assalamalikum,
C'mon guys are you seriously going to fight over this? That shallow are we?
Whether he is alive, or dead or whatever, shouldn't deter us from our amaal.
Let me make one thing clear, whether he is alive, or whether he is dead, we cant reach him and talk to him about our problems and ask him for guidance. So lets give up the discussion, whether he is alive or dead, Allah knows best. (Even if we have ahadiths, and ayahs do back it up, it DOESN'T MATTER!)
Prepare yourself for whats to come in the grave, by utilizing on what the Prophet pbuh left us. Capitalize on that!
Another very important matter, Just because someone utters one statement wrong or holds a certain belief, does not mean he is a KAAFIR, and MUNAAFIQ! Shame on our ummah that we label people as such based on words that they utter.
Who cares? How does it affect you? Allah will not ask you about someone else's sins!!! Worry about your own self.
People make it a form of entertainment by uploading these videos and mocking the scholar/speaker/debater/presenter. This is not right, if he is incorrect, dont demonize him, instead politely correct him/her if you can, if not, then stop labelling and ascribing things onto him/her which he may or may not adhere to!
