as a general principle we alway compare "like to like case".
namrood and firoun were kafir and even they claimed that they are god.
here we are talking about two muslims "hazrat hussain and yazid ibn Muavia" both were learned person and had great knowledge of shariah and practicing muslims.
so khuda kay liyay dont make yazid that controversial ............. he was muslim after all and was the nephew of "mother of believer".
