Dear all GS Members in particular reference to those residing in the UAE - Sallams and Ramadan Kareem!!!

Just wanted to bring your attention to Dr Zakir Naik who will be delivering a lecture here in Dubai. Its during two days and will start at 10 pm- facilities are made for sisters. I have a synopsis of what the lecture will entail and those wishing to attend please follow the link to his website.

Can someone tell me why some people are so against Dr Zakir and talk REALLY bad stuff about him?? I mean I really like his lectures and dont understand the reason for any hostility towards him? :konfused:

farah ji theres all sorts of people in this world..........u got to take it with a pinch of salt hun...

could be many reasons. however i know one reason. “he favored Yazid Lantullah” and he is against the act of Imam hussain (AS) in karbala.
his speach is on youtube, you can go to youtube to confirm. thx

i dont know about dr. zakir naik views in this regard. however second opinion does exist about karabala incident.

and few historian thinks yazid was not responsible for the shahadat of hazrat hussain. further yazid was a competent ruler and his character was not that impious as it is generally portayed. further he was far more popular than Hazrat Hussain who was supported by only his close relatives and friends.

What inuit posted is the main reason why. The video states him saying ra after Yazid as well as Hussain (as).

You are completely on the wrong side of history my friend. 1st of all I'd like to clear out that just because 1 is popular doesn't make him right. Christianity is the more popular religion - does that make it the true religion? 2nd of all if Yazid did not kill Hussain (as), who did?

I wish I was in Dubai to see him. He is amazing Mashallah.

I got tickets to see him in London but they over-booked it so much that they had large plasma screens outside where we got seats!!!!

I hope he comes to London again.

first of all what happened in karbala is not part of my belief.

coz i dont think i wud be asked in the life hereafter that what i know about the incident of karbala. newayz i will watch the video as soon as i get time.

Is the order of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh&f) part of your belief? If yes then this is what the Prophet said about Imam Hussein (as):

"Al-Hasan and al-Hussein are the chiefs of the youth of Paradise"
"Hussein is from me and I am from Hussain"
"I am in war with those who will fight you, and in peace with those who are peaceful to you."

What makes you think you will not be asked in the hereafter about the wage of the message brought by our Prophet (pbuh&f)?

Salaam plz DO NOT listen to zakir neik. He is disrespectful of Our Dear Prohphet (Sallalaho Alahey Wasulum) and Ouliya (Saints). What muslim can stand such a person!!! He has recently been banned in India. Love and Respect for our Dear Prophet (Sallalaho Alahey Wasulum) is the core of our Eman. Please save your Eman and save others.

i love dr zakir naik..he speaks the Haqq and Truth based on Quran and Sunnah only....those who talk against him are the ones who have a bias against the Sahaba(RA) of the Rasulullah SAW and they r not be trusted!Through him...by the Grace of Allah..Hundreds of people have been shown the Truth of Islam!

May Allah always always always protect Dr Zakir Naik!ameeen!!!
