I mentioned in a previous post that when people enter the medical field, they are only 18 years old. And they cant drop out either. It’s not america where you can change your major when you decide you don’t like it anymore. At 18 years of age, you just do what your parents want you to.
Thers no guidance career counselors here in highschools telling you what to pursue. Unless you go into MBBS or engineering, you’re not considered smart enough. So alot of people get into mbbs thinking its cool, doctors make money, save lives bla bla bla but later on they realize its really not something they wanted to get into. So they stop practicing.
